Q:I have this printer, bought for $100 at Best Buy a few years ago... I moved almost 2 years ago, and seemingly have lost one or more of the cords associated with this printer. Im trying to find out which one is missing. I have the one which connects the printer to the computer [USB]. But I dont have the one that gives it power... It looks like the end would fit into a 3 hole [prong?] opening, the holes are all in line... Anyone got an ideas? Know what Im talking about? If so, any idea what its called, or where I can find one? Im sure online, but I havent any idea what Im looking for at this point.
why don't you e-mail HP see if they will send you a power cord or advise you where to get one in your area
Q:If I buy a PS3 in the US and bring it back to France, if I buy the french power cable and exchange it with the US power cable, will the PS3 work? I have a transformer which I already use for my Wii so if the power cable doesnt work for the PS3, I can just use the transformer.
This is not an answer but just idk.. they are making a new version of PS3 in abouts 5 months :P
Q:My brother lost the cable from the wall to the back of the power supply for his dell somehow, and I have one for a different brand (gateway). Are the cables themselves an interchangeable industry standard?
If you're talking desktops, then yes, the cord is an industry standard. You can swap them around as you wish. The same 3 prong cable is used by many other electronic devices (TVs, stereos, etc) Laptop chargers are an entirely different matter.
Q:I have an old scanner, HP Scanjet 3400C, but I have lost the power supply cable. The power socket the cable fits into looks like a small single hole with a little pin in the middle. Can I replace it and what is it called?Thank you very much.
You're okorder /
Q:I recently bought a new internal hard drive for my computer (Hitachi Hds721010cla332, a upgraded version of what I currently have). When trying to install it I found out that the power socket isnt the same as my current hard drive. Ive been searching on the internet but cant find an adapter that converts from my current hard drives power cable to the new hard drives required power cable.

Q:Hey! I bought a new sound system for my truck including 4 new speakers, a sub, a 5-channel amp, and I'm running all new wiring. So far I've got the 3 RCA cables ran, along with the blue remote turn-on wire along the right side of my truck. I plan to run the Power wire down the left side and then to my amp.I've heard that you put the power wire and RCA cables on different sides, which is what I've done, but is it ok for my speaker wires to be run beside or close to the power wire(4-gauge fyi)? For example, the right side speaker wires wont be near it, but the left side speaker wires will be...Will this cause any weird noise from my speakers?I don't have the names/etc of all my gear right in front of me, but if u rly need it, I will quot;add detailsfor you! Thanks!!
Separating the power the speaker wires is not as important in a car that uses DC voltage as it is in a home system that has AC voltage. It certainly doesn't hurt anything, tho.... If you do run them across each other, keep the intersection as close to a good right angle as possible. And, air is a very good insulator, so keeping some distance between the power the speaker wires is also very good.
Q:I have a HP compaq laptop and a few months ago I started having a problem where my laptop sleeps/powers off when I plug in the power cable. The computer runs fine on battery but as soon as the charger cord goes in the screen goes black and the fans stop but yet the computer is still on.If the charger is plugged in when I switch on my computer I just get a blank screen. I have tried replacing the battery and the cord, changing the power settings, hibernate settings, taking the battery out etc. It's really annoying. Please help!
Go into the Power Settings in the control panel. Check the settings there, specifically the advanced options when power is connected.
Q:Were can i buy a replacement power cable ?
You okorder which the only few i know offer the power cable charger under lifetime warranty. Since those power cable won't last forever, lifetime coverage can definitely save your some money. Wish the Best.
Q:printer is powered on. cables are securely connected. printer has ink and paper. printer installed as network printer on all client computers. other users are able to print to the printer. but printer not working on the other computer
Check if the other computer has the printer as default. Go to printers and faxes and check from there.
Q:And will it damage the PS2 it if I use it?
Google the voltage the PS2 used, and if the PS3's power cable voltage is the same as the PS2's power cable then it's all good. Hope that helps.
