- Q: OK, so pretty much this is where im at, I clipped the connector off the wires that went into my stock stereo and now have the wires from my new deck and pretty sure I just have to connect them. Is there A good diagram or tell me what goes to what here.... I'm a bit lost. Its to late to buy a wiring harness seeing as I clipped off the connector... so I dont need to here how I should buy a wiring harness. Thanks

- Q: i have a 1989 Nissan 240sx and im trying to install an aftermarket Pioneer radio (DEH-P20), my car only has 2 speaker which are in the front right and left side doors, i've gotten many wiring diagrams to help me install it and im pretty sure i have connected the wires correctly. the only problem is that after i got done connecting it, the radio wont power on.. if theres a defective power wire, what can i do to fix it? and also, where EXACTLY do i connect the Ground wire? oh and why does the car wires have multiple same colors for example, theres like 3 light blue wires non striped from the car, etc.?thank you
- I think the problem you are having is that your system is an active system and you don't have the power antenna wire connected to the amp turn on wire. Without this connection you will not get any sound. So what you need to do is connect the amp turn on wire to the power antenna wire. The amp turn on wire for your 240sx should be light green and located on the smaller of the two molex connectors of your radio's wiring harness located in the dash. Just connect that light green wire to the blue power antenna wire on your new radio wiring harness and you should be good to go! As for the ground situation, as long as you mounted the new radio to the metal brackets originally attached to the Nissan radio it will automatically be grounded when you screw the brackets into the dash. I hope that helps, if not give me a jingle and I'll see if I can't clear anything up for ya.

- In recent years, much of the 12 gauge wire is being wrapped in yellow pvc, while the 14 gauge is still being wrapped in white. Side by side it's easier to tell. 12 is thicker and more difficult to work with, bend and such. Also, spools of wire have the gauge and other identifying characteristics laser printed on them at regular intervals.

- You should have bought a radio adapter for your car! Splicing the cables is not a good idea! You can get a Radio adapter which joins the connector from the radio to the cars radio wiring!
- Q: I have a minivan with a flat 5 pin wiring connecter at back. We bought an old utility trailer with no wiring. It has the two rear lights, one on each side with 2 wires sticking out of each. We got the flat 5 pin trailer connector to connect to the van and bought a long piece of cable which has the white, brown, green and yellow wires in it. Where do I connect what? - ok wiring 101 just think of the road yellow line left side =left hand signal. green grass right side of road = right hand signal. brown = leave the dirt behind =running lights .white ground your trailer is wired

- I actually have a sparkling invisiline retainer and prefer it. I sparkling it two times an afternoon in pepsodent (using chilly water, no longer warm). I on no account consume with the retainer--I consistently do away with it as quickly as I consume--and when I consume, I brush my tooth and then brush/rinse the retainer. I do the pepsodent soakings two times an afternoon--morning and at night. I used Efferdent till now each and everything, yet that took too long--30-40 5 minutes. Pepsodent works in approximately 3 minutes. I save a broom with the Pepsodent and use it to scrub the answer out of the recesses of the retainer. that's in simple terms a habit now--in case you do this, your retainer will stay vivid and sparkling. No stinkiness. (And my orthodontist stated that Efferdent --no longer the blue-staining varieties--and Pepsodent artwork in simple terms besides as Retainer Brite. that's much less annoying to locate Pepsodent Efferedent besides. reliable success.

- you will need a DVM, to find what is what. Check the fuse box, and make sure the fuse is good, and search for the constant power.Set the meter to 20V. I like to stick the ground on my meter, in the ignition where the key goes. Then find the switched, key on wire. obviously, you'll have to move the ground on the meter for that. Don't forget to solder and use heat shrink tubing, or red and blue butt connectors, and heat shrink, or tape them well. Then set the meter to ohms, or the omega pic on the meter. once you find a resistance for each speaker, pop it with a 9V battery, not a AA, as both terminals are on top. then when you hear which speaker pops, wire it accordingly. Good Luck!
