Q:my rug is filthy ....we moved in after these people had dogs in my room and it smells like pee when it gets hot so i decided to clean it today and i put Woolite on and scrubbed it then water and soap on it( i didnt care) now its wet and i want to vacuum it up with a regular vacuum .. is this ok and will my carpet stop making my room smell since i scrubbed it twice with Woolite and water and soap: id wait till it dried if you want to vacuum, you could get electricuted

Q:My brother used toilet bleach on the carpet to wash out some cat pee, and its turned orange, when the carpet is beige!!Is there any way to make it beige again? Otherwise our parents will be mad :/x: try putting it in dryer wash it off .....

Q:Alright , so we forgot and left the portable heater on the carpet and overnight it caught fire and burnt the carpet, its a pretty huge area.. Any idea's of how to make it less visible or even patch it ?Thankks MUCHHH .: yes, a carpet installer can patch it if there can be found a piece of carpet that closely matches it.if you can get it at a carpet store that would be the best,otherwise you can take a piece out of a bedroom closet or somewhere it won't be as noticeable.you can do it yourself but it is very complicated to explain on here.basically it is like a patch.

Q:I need to replace my 45 year old carpet. It is showing it's age. But one thing that has never been done is having it re stretched. Not one wrinkle. It lays as flat and tight as the day it was put in. So this beings up the question. quot;Should a properly installed wall to wall carpet ever need to be re stretched?quot; I have noticed many carpets in newer homes that are all wrinkled. Here's a good rule of thumb: to remove carpet stains effectively, it's important you get to the task immeidately upon spilling, if you don't you're more likely to incur permanant damage. Dab at the stain with vinegar or club soda until it's removed. If you waited too long and the stain has set in, you should still be able to remove the stain by using dry-cleaning solvent. Q:Carpet anti-skid pad does not work, what should I do?: The carpet you buy should not be a real non slip mat. Really effective anti-skid carpet shop on the ground is not going to type, and I guess you buy the kind of black bottom a little, and that does not have any anti slip effect!

Q:Well in my room im able to choose the flooring in it...Should i put in wood floors or carpet?do you like whts in your room or would you change it could you please write down falls and good qualites: I prefer wood over carpet everywhere. It's so much easier to maintain and you can choose great room size or throw rugs to change your decor when you want. Carpets are high maintenance and require constant vacuuming and steam cleaning. Hardwoods are easy to Swiffer for dust and clean with OrangeGlo hardwood polish and cleaner. Hardwoods are elegant also. I would opt for the hardwoods.

Thank you.: Try to dampen the area and then brush up with a hair brush. Having had your furniture in place for such a long time it's likely there will always be an indentation there. I've seen some, good quality carpets, recover if the pile is thick enough. Hope this helps in some way.
