- I do hope you cleaned the Carpet real well as soon as you spilled it. I would be surprised if it did not remove some of the color of your carpet..I had a friend who did that also and it did remove the color and she had saved a piece of the Carpet that was left over after it was laid. So she cut a small piece out to fit the place she had destroyed with the Polish remover. I hope you have some spare carpet pieces around...

- Q: I was hoovering today and I took a closer look at the carpet when I realised my carpet is full of little white cm long bugs. I searched on google and they are saying it is carpet bettle larve. But looki g at the pictures of these beetle larve they look nothing like them. To give you a picture they are pure white cilinder shapes that have a sort of tuft on each end. They are a cm long and I'd expect a mm in diameter. Please help

- That flooring for garages, called garage flooring tile, from Lowe's or Home Depot would be good for a basement. I think it's plastic; not sure though. If the floor is concrete, painting it would be a cheap option, and just add some inexpensive area rugs.
- Q: We are currently in a rental and our dogs chewed up some of our carpet. The carpet is berber and we have left over carpet in storage from when it was installed. One chewed up piece is in a corner and the other is a long rectangle area maybe 2 feet long by 7 or 8 inches wide. That area that is chewed up is in the middle of the carpet. Is there any way to just cut out the peices and replace them with the extra carpet we have or is that not doable with berber carpet? If we can do it can you tell me how or who to contact. - I have repaired a place like that. I laid out a piece just bigger than the bad spot, cut through both layers, that left the new cut an exact match of where the old was cut out. then I used the hot glue gun and glued it in very carefully. It looks good but if you look close you can see the seam. Hope this is helpful.
