Q:I am wiring a sony xplod amp up in my car and need to know what the skinny blue wire goes to. Any help would be appreciated.: Run a fused (1 amp, 14 AWG) wire from a fuse in the fuse panel that only has power when the car is ON to one side of a switch. From the other side of the switch run the same sized wire to the REM (remote) connection on the amp. This allows for full control and you never have to worry about forgetting to turn off the amp. The switch is so you can turn off the amp at will so as not to give grandma a heart attack in the car. You can find fuse taps and in-line fuse holders at any autoparts store.

Q:i have a 1995 chevy S10 blazer and i noticed that it has 5? speakers in the door and 6x9 in the back i started looking and i found that it has 4x6 in the dash with cardboard over it but it don't have speaker wire ran for it i think its going to be difficult running wire for it but what gauge of wire should i use? and should i run the speaker wire to the head unit how would i hook the speaker wire to the aftermarket head unit or should i run it to the 6x9 or 5? i already have a pair of 4x6's ready to be installed in it as soon as i find out how to do it and what size of speaker wire it is im going to be doing it by myself: common speaker wire will work fine. as for running new wires to the dash. i have found that if you cut the hook off a metal coathanger and bend one end 6 inches from the end, you can tire the speaker wire to the bend and thread it thru. it just takes a little patience. i would wire them to the door speakers.

If the wire does not fit, get a different case or different PSU... If the PSU is still working, you should be ok. Just get a proper cable to the motherboard (and/or change PSU). Melted wires are an indication of too much current in the wire for a given wire size. In plain words, the wires were too small for the load they carried. Since your mobo has an 8 pin CPU power socket, you MUST get a PSU that has the same 8 pin. In general, 8 pin can carry twice the current that 4 pin can, hence that is why your wires burned, you were putting too much current through the 4 wire, current that needed the 8 wire plug... A 4 wire will not work - ever, it will still overheat.... Get the right power supply !!!

Q:i need to know what wire goes where: A little background here. Your dryer is a 220 volt appliance and until recently they had only 3 wires to it, to match the receptacle. Now they seperated the neutral (white) and the ground (green or bare copper) but the two still attach to the same busbar at your electrical power panel. So heres the color schematic you need. Your dryer hot wires are yellow and blue and attach to the red and black wires which are 110 volt hot wires from the panel (together they add up to 220) , the white wires go together as these are your neutral wires which return power to the panel thus completing your circuit, the green or bare copper wire can be attached to the white wires or attached to the metal electrical box if you have one as the equipment box. Your receptacle box may be plastic which then you have no choice but to attach it to the white wires. If you have a electrical meter, it would show 110 volts across either the red/yellow or blue/black wires to either the white or green wires, with 220 volts measuring across the red/yellow and blue/black connections. There is no appliance that runs on 220 volts but rather 2 110 volt circuits,which in a dryer one 110 v circuit runs the timer and lights while the other runs the heating element itself. Be sure to turn off the breaker before attempting and make sure your connections are good and tight or youll have problems. Good luck
