Q: About 10-12 years ago we had our bathroom sink resurfaced (I don't know what with, and it's now rather pliable/rubbery), and it's beginning to peel around the faucet area, and in some very small spots in the main part of the sink bowl. Is there a best way to remove the new surface, which is quite ugly peeling, to get back to the old surface? Thanks.
you're asking for more work than it's worth.
Q: What is the difference between a basin counter and a bathroom cabinet?
Taiwan counter cabinet, in a broad sense is the bathroom under the toilet basin, that is, under the wash basin cabinet. This cabinet as a result of frequent water, so the production of materials and processing must be waterproof surface treatment.
Q: How much is the counter basin?
According to ergonomics, the most comfortable hanging cabinet lifting height is the user viewing line height, generally between 1500--1600. If you have more questions, you can click on ID consultation.
Q: I would like to ask where to buy this basin sink ah, do not OKorder, because do not want to wait
Hardware store there
Q: bathroom wash basin faucet handle, how much height from the ground more appropriate
1m high comfortable position, the door lock is the same,
Q: What is the size of the general household bathroom basin size
At present, the commonly used commonly used washbasin sizes are: 585 × 390mm, 600 × 460mm, 700 × 460mm, 750 × 460mm, 800 × 460mm, 900 × 460mm, 1000 × 460mm, 600 × 405 × 155mm, 410 × 310 × 140mm, etc. Size, in addition, the commonly used washbasin size there are many, because the washbasin is a private bathroom sanitary ware products, so in order to try to meet the needs of each user, manufacturers have to quit a lot of different size of the wash basin, and finally appeared The current situation.
Q: So I live in an appartment, the upstairs of a house. Everytime I go to brush my teeth all I can smell is POO! I know this is disgusting and I don't know what to do about it???
If you live in the UK then bathrooms usually have water supplied by a tank hot from the tank in your airing cupboard which is mains fed, cold is usually supplied by a tank some times in the loft which can become contaminated although this is mains fed there is a loose lid which could become dislodged I have heard of dead birds in cold water tanks. Worst case scenario is that your tank has been contaminated on purpose. Speak to your management company or health department and explain the problem, in the meantime use bottled water to brush your teeth and ask other residents if they have a similar problem
Q: My bathroom has an old sink that needs to be replaced. At the same time, the faucet and related items would be replaced. If I hired a handy man what would be the estimated cost to me for removing the old and putting in a new sink with all the related items including labor and parts? What would be the estimated cost if a plumber did the job?The new sink would not be anything fancy, just a standarized sink that would be used in a condominium. Thanks
There are a lot of variable to this question. First, labor rates are very dependent on where you live (city/state). Is it a pedestal sink or one with a vanity cabinet? If it is a vanity, is it a drop in or under mount sink? There is also the question of size. There really is no standard, as sinks are made different sizes to fit in different spaces. A pedestal sink will generally cost a little more in both labor and for the sink itself. I would love to give you an idea of cost, but with so little information, I'd hate to give you bad information. Your best bet would be to call around to a couple local plumbing shops and have them come out and give you an estimate. A lot will do this at no cost to you, and should be able to bring out some catalogs of different sink and faucet styles for you to look and and decide what you'd like. This will also give them a chance to look and see if there are any additional obstacles that would change the cost of the job (shut off valves that don't work, and other piping issues). FYI, the shop I work for has a rate of $160/hr for labor. In your local area this may be different, and will affect the cost. Plumbing rates across the country fluctuate A LOT. Call around for rates.
Q: Help! The cleaning lady somehow disconnected the stopper in my bathroom sink from the lever that moves the stopper up and down. Now its in the down position, a sink full of water and I cant get the stopper out!!
Look under the sink. The drain pipe is called a tailpiece, and sticking out of the back of it is a lever, which is usually connected by a spring clip to the operating rod which you push or pull to operate the drain. Push the lever down; this will raise the stopper to let the water out. Then re-attach the operating rod to the lever.
Q: I think it's from someone shaving in there. I don't know but it takes like 15 minutes for the thing to drain. It's driving me insane. I tried to unclog it with a butter knife but that didn't work It just made it worse.
