- Q:I am trying to find an inexpensive vacuum for my apartment. One day I will buy a fancy expensive one but I need one now and that is not what I can afford. I have been looking at what vacuums people recommend and it sounds like the bagged vacuums work better. However, most of the ones in the stores are bagless so I had assumed that was better. Is that only true with high end machines? Or is everyone carrying bagless just because they look cooler on the shelves?

- Q:We have a mischievious dog in the house that keeps chewing and destroying things. The power cord he severed belonged to a Kenmore Progressive Direct Drive vacuum cleaner and it will take about $25 to replace, rather than buying a whole new vacuum cleaner. I was wondering if anyone thought it was a dumb idea to attempt to remove the back part and replace this cord or if it could be done at all? If you have any experience or knowledge in the structure of vacuum cleaners, your input would be greatly appreciated. :) The model number is 11635923500.

- Q:I am thinking in aspect of vacuum cleaners.
- Amp is a unit of current. The rate of electrical flow. Volt is a unit of potential difference or voltage. This is usually constant for all electrical appliances in a country. In vaccum cleaners, the usual rating for how powerful the appliance is it POWER. The unit for this is Watts (W). 1800W is quite powerful. 1000W is quite weak. If they only give Voltage (Volts) and current (Amps), simply multiply the two to get the power. Power = Volts x Current.
- Q:And why is it that once you've run out of bags, you can never find the ones for your vacuum at the store?(Anyone who uses the word suck in their answer will not get 10 points.)
- if you want a vacuum that lasts a while- go to Sears. the bags are also located in sears for all the different vacuums. hope this helps.
- Q:the problem of human and animals living together and the solution
- Vacuum cleaners and lint rollers help with all the shedding.
- Q:Ok so our Dyson hoover has finally given up. We want a new hoover that isn't as heavy as a Dyson. We tried the smaller Dyson's today but they aren't powerful enough because we have 2 pets you see. So we tested the HOOVER DM6228 and that seemed ok. Any reviews or any recommendations of vacuum cleaners? I live in Britain by the way.
- My wife LOVES vacuums (we've owned a lot!). The best by far has been the Oreck. Lightweight and it cleans well. Our Dyson crapped out after only a year and my wife never liked it anyway (too heavy)
- Q:thinking of buying an LG compressor vaccum cleaner, does anyone have reveiws of this product?
- Vacuum cleaners are very cheap at the moment and L G have a very good name in lots of products. We have always stuck to Hoover and use one called The One,good for picking animal hairs up.
- Q:I hear great things about there products but don't the cost something like $500. who owns one and do you like it?
- In my opinion, no. You don't have to spend that kind of money to get a good quality vacuum cleaner. I own a Hoover, have had it for 17 years, have never had any trouble with it, and it works like a charm. I've heard a lot of bad things about Dyson, including the lack of customer service. If you want a 'premium' vacuum cleaner, Oreck is very good quality and the company stands behind its exceptionally good warranty.
- Q:I'm looking for a vacuum that is less than $200, Upright, bagless, HEPA, can clean pet hair, and reliable/durable. If you know any other vaccuum brand that fits into ALL of my requirements above, feel free to tell me. I did some research and narrowed my list down to two. So my questions are:1. Which one should I buy? 2. What are the pros and cons between the two?
- Go with the Eureka i bought a Bissell and it is junk,i went through so many brushes already and had it under a yr,they're junk if you ask me.You know the rug beater or brush well the bearings are shot after a few uses. And in the long run,lol you could have got the better vacume.
- Q:I've never had one so any opinion would really help.THANKS...
- I have only owned one robot vacuum, and that's a Roomba Discovery. I LOVE IT!!! I do still vacuum weekly with my regular vacuum. Roomba will only get floors, and won't vacuum couches, beds, etc. This may not make a big difference to you, but if you have pets like me it's huge. Anyway, back to the question at hand. I love my Roomba. I sit it in the middle of a room once or twice a week and it keeps everything cleaner. I dust less. It's easier to vacuum when I do use the regular vacuum. If you have large open areas, you may also want to invest in the longer life battery. As for others, I have only heard what other people think. And ALL have said that the only one to own is the Roomba Discovery. I guess I lucked out starting with that one. I saw on the iRobot website the other day that they have a newer one called a Dirt Dog, or something like that. I believe that's designed for pet hair pick up so that's something to keep in mind. Cons - not many. It vacuums for you. You don't do much.
