- Watts is not a rating of suction. Watts tells you how much energy is consumed running the motor. IT May actually be telling you how much power you are wasting. Cubic feet per minute (cfm) will tell you the air flow, Water lift will give you an idea of motor torque. As for bag-less or bags, virtually every commercial cleaning in the USA uses bags. The long term cost of use for bags is lower. They don't have the filter replacement costs and the vacuums last longer. These are guys who count every penny and they won't buy a bag-less If you want a great vacuum that will last forever, buy a commercial back pack vacuum with a 150 cfm motor. Something like the Advance 6xp or the Pro-Team Super Caoch Twenty years from now you will give it to you kids. You will probably spend $15 a year on bags and filters.

- MMMM.... I've never heard of the Dyson Theory! However, fret not... I work at Kohls dept. store and people that have a Kohls account at certain times of the year can take advantage of our 30%,20% or 15% discount.. It's generally in the form of a scratch-off OR catalouge coupon... It's good on ALL the merch. in the store.. So, right off the bat you would SAVE and we also match price SEARS, BEST BUY etc.. not online... So, if you did your homework and brought in the sales ad etc...You could do pretty well.... ***The last customer that I sold one I gave him 30% and matched price so he saved about $160.... ***You don't have to have the coupon.. Just during the sale event tell them you left it at home or borrow one from another customer... ****Check your local vacuum repair shop and see if they have a refurbished model.. Good luck...

- Q: A vacuum cleaner is supposed to do just that: clean! And that’s what my old vacuum wasn’t doing. And it was so heavy! . Is it really lighter than the one which are there in the market. Doesn’t it have a bag to dispose like in other conventional models?
- Funny you should ask, because I have seen more Dysons being thrown out than any other vacuum cleaner, when the local dustmen collect. I have a 10 year old Electolux Mondo which still works fine. I have heard that Dysons have expensive accessories like filters that need changing regularly.
