Q:It is a small gear that goes on the brushroll which the belt attaches to turn the roll. The vacuum is a shark navigator nv22 and have looked on several site but all I come up with is filter parts. Can someone point me in the right direction to were I could by individual parts if there is any: Look around for a guy who repairs them. The only real difference is in the accessories. You just have to determine if they`re worth the price.

Q:I know there is the Bissell Flip it, Dirt Devil Vac n Mop and Hoover Floor Mate, but is there a site where I can compare all 3 and see which one is the best?: I tried the Floor Mate, garbage...it didn't do a good job of cleaning (terrible suction) and it leaked water. I bought a scooba...very happy with it. Does a great job on the floors and you can use vinegar and water instead of the clorox cleaner on your wood floors. The only drawback is you have to empty and then refill after 45 mins. Other than that its the greatest invention for a busy Mom like me!

From what he found out, the Dyson's are WAY overpriced and no better than any other good quality vacuum. Never get a canister vacuum, the hair will get caught and affect the performance of the vacuum. As well, the vacuums where you pull the little R2-D2 unit behind you never have enough power. Get an upright, bag vacuum. Basically, do some looking around but the biggest thing is, don't just buy a name brand. Ask around.
