Q: What is the point of this, if you are more than likely not going to be vacuuming at night? I've heard people say that it is to quot;know if a specific area is cleanbut I mean seriously... They have numerous models so just pick the one that's best for you particular situation. It is made so well that I do not expect to ever have to replace it. It still looks brand new and spotless. Not one ounce of dust ever sticks to it as it suck it all around it. A push of the button empties it so I never have any dusty hands. I love to use it, so that's a very first for me, I always hated dragging out the vacuum. This one is not like working at all, I never break a sweat. This is one item where you really get what you pay for, and will save you tons of money in the future as well as so much frustration!!!

More noise is created by turbulence in the wind that rushes up the pipe and into the bag.

I have a Roomba Discovery 4220 (black) I like it very much. I have hardwood floors, as well as carpet. It does very well on both. It runs about 2 hours on a charge the AUTOMATICALLY returns itself to the charger to recharge. You can't get any more convenient than that. Just make sure everything (Clothes, Wires, etc) are off the floor, empty the cannister before each use, and let it go!

Q: Hello! I was wondering if Vacuum cleaners get rid of germs. I mean, when I think about it, doesn't it probably suck all the germs up? Perhaps it may not kill germs, but it at least gets rid of them on a particular surface(like the carpet.)And if they don't get rid of germs, than how can I get rid of germs on the carpet? I like it and use it probably once a week on everything ( mattress, carpets, etc) It does however say that over time it may lead to fading of dark fabrics so beware.

Take her out to dinner, buy her a nice pair of slippers and her favorite perfume. Not a vacuum. All you can do is clean it out as much as you can. Look for larger objects that may have been sucked in and remove them. If it is clogged with a bunch of hair from someone or some pet, try and stop that hair from reaching the floor. Combing your pet on a regular basis and throwing away the hair not only helps your animal in the summer heat, but also keeps the hair off the floor. Good luck, and find a better gift for your mom than a working vacuum.
