Types of the cables:：

- You should be able to do so, provided you have the mounting space for the drive. You have to watch how you buy the drive - any OEM drive comes bare, with no cables (no SATA data cable). Other box stores selling drive may or may not include the data cable, you have to check. The power cable comes from your power supply, make sure you have a spare SATA power connector from the PSU...

- are you sure there's not 1 power cord with six plugs on it? often the power cables will have connectors all the way down them.
- Q: Ok so I was doing something stupid just now. Cuttiing a power cable that connects to the tv. Halfway through to cutting it, the wire explodes and hit my face o,o. - You probably should not have been left home alone, unsupervised. It is NOT OK to turn the power on, unless you have taken the TV plug out of the power socket on the wall. This does NOT mean cutting through the cord, it means unplugging it like a normal person would do. You might have a couple of small burns on your face. If you were more injured, I am sure you would realize it.
