- Q: Are they the same because apple gives yuo the cable but you can buy the power adapter
- the power adapter is so you can charge it off of a regular outlet rather than having to have a computer handy to charge it through the usb port. i recommend getting the power adapter, i have it and its good
- Q: I have my friends PC at my house to change a few components but apparently the PC doesn't work properly. I insert the power connectors ( 20 and 4 pin connectors ) into the motherboard, plug the power cable into the PSU and when i turn the power button on the PSU the computer will start but do nothing. It never worked like that before, i always used the power button from the computer to turn it off and on. And this happened just after i changed a PSU. Now the old Power Supply doesn't work either. Is there any way to stop the computer from turning itself on ?
- On the motherboard, you will find a small battery. If you take it out, it resets the BIOS. Make sure the power cable is unplugged as well. Other wise a new mother board is required.
- Q: The power is a 24 pin and does not have a green wire. It has a grey, 6 red, 3 blue, a yellow , an Orange, a purple, a dark blue, 8 black, and a brown
- MATERIALS 1.) power supply 2.) power cable 3.)paper clip Step 1 Plug in the Power Cable to the wall, and then into the back of the Power Supply. Make sure the Power Supply is flipped to 1 and not 0. I like to remember 1 is for power because 1 looks like I, and I have ADHD. So I always haves me some powers. 0 is like O which is like my OH face. Then I am drained of power. Step 2 Take the paper clip and bend it into a 'U' shape. We want the two ends of it to be next to each other, or relatively close. Step 3 Now we are in the final step. Locate the Green wire on your PSU. There should only be one Green wire, whether you have a 20 or 24 pin power cable. Alright, we found it. Now we get have to find a Black wire on your PSU as well. There are a few, but we should be fine. Finally, take the paper clip and insert one end into the Green wire and the other end into any Black wire. And there we have it. Your power supply is alive and kicking. Again, this is a good way to test fans for functionality, CD-ROMs, and Floppy Drives. Almost any component that will plug into this is fine. I would not advise for your hard drive in case of data loss, but if it's a questionable hard drive (why else would we test it?) then you I'm guessing you don't care if it has anything on it, or it's too old to matter.
- Q: How to connect the power cable pre-branch connector
- In the pre-measured size cut out the jacket and insulation, according to the different cross-sectional size of the cable cut the size of the jacket and insulation different; with C-shaped tube corresponding to the corresponding color sequence crushing the trunk and branch lines, crimping attention to crimping The strength of the clamp, can not be too loose or too tight, too loose will cause the cable crimping off, resulting in open circuit, crimping too tight will break the conductor or cause the conductor stranded in the contact with a good conductor with polytetrafluoroethylene With the winding baking transparent, and then wrapped waterproof tape (tiger belt) can be used after the wooden hammer shrink the cable core to facilitate injection molding in the injection process should choose the appropriate mold and injection molding machine injection mold injection, the mold is too large cost Waste, the mold is too small caused by defective, bad seal at both ends of the running coke, affecting the injection effect
- Q: I need 600W of power for my new computer, but all I have is 2 300W, 20-pin power supplies. What I'm wondering is if I can combine the 2 20-pin connectors and turn them into 1 24-pin connector?
- relies upon on the producer are you advantageous its basically 20 pin as some 4 pin connectors grasp freely so how many different 4 clusters do you have you will desire to have 2 one million of those would be the different connector you go with except its an exceptionally very very old cheappy PSU inwhich case replace it they ordinary and much less costly 30 bux
- Q: What is the name of this computer psu power adapter cable from psu to 9600 graphics card....?
- PCI express 4 pin to 6 pin power adapter it takes the 2 4 pin molex connectors that connect to a fan or a CD rom or hard drive/ect into 1 pci express 6 pin adapter. People use them if they don't have the 6 pin pci express on their power supply they use the adapter to connect extra 4 pin molexes to use for their video card/devices
- Q: Calculation method of wire and cable outer diameter
- Tell the truth like a three-core cable, five-core cable calculation is more complicated you math good painting geometric map can still be considered
- Q: It never occurred to me that the power cable -- the one connected from the outlet to the laptop's AC brick -- is rated at quot;125V - 7Aquot;. Does that mean it won't be able to handle the 240V in some countries? The brick itself is rated 100V - 240V, so it can be used internationally. In fact, I spent a year in France, where I used my Dell Inspiron just fine (with a prong adapter so it'll fit into the socket). The reason why I'm paying attention to the power cable is because the cable for my Nikon D80 battery charger has a quot;USsticker on it. The charger itself can handle 240V, but does this mean the cable cannot?
- read the stuff on the adapter. if it says 120-240 then you can use internationally. if not you CAN'T use it. you have to get a transformer then which will convert electric to 120.
- Q: i have a SATA hard disk and i connected it with a sata power cable and recently i bought a sata optical drive and i have no power cable for connecting the drive, so i decided to connect it with the power cable of hard disk(I have two sata hard disk)
- You might want to get these at a local computer shop though or you'll pay more for shipping than you will for the wire itself. I would suggest the 1 SATA to 3 SATA seeings as we already know you have SATA power connectors.
- Q: why use of black color for electrical Power cables ?
- Electrical cables are made in all colors. The black is least expensive.
