Brief Introduction

XLPE insulated power cable has a number of advantages over paper insulated and PVC insulated cable. XLPE power cable has high electric strength, mechanical strength, high-ageing resisting, environmental stress resisting anti-chemical corrosion, and it is simple construction, using convenient and higher operating of long term temperature. It can be laid with no drop restriction.

The flame-retardant and non-flame retardant XLPE cable can be manufactured with three technologies (peroxide, silane and irradiation cross-linking). The flame-retardant cable covers all kinds of low-smoke low-halogen low-smoke halogen free, and non-smoke non-halogenated and three classes of A,B,C.

Product Description:

1. Conductors: copper or aluminum.

2. Both armored and non-armored type power cables are available.

3. Voltage rating: 6/10kV 8.7/15kV 26/35kV.

4. PVC or PE sheathed.

5. Number of cable cores: one core(Single core),two cores(Double cores),three cores,

Four cores (Four Equal-section-area cores or three equal-section-area cores and one smaller section area neutral core),

Five cores (Five equal-area cores or three equal-section-area cores and two smaller section area neutral cores).

6. Standards: IEC 60502. IEC, BS, DIN, ASTM, CSA, NFC, AS, GOST etc. Or other special characteristics as customers request.

Application Conditions

1. The long-time permissible operation temperature of conductor shall not be higher than 90oC.

2. Conductor maximum short circuit (not more than 5 seconds) temperature shall not be higher than 250 oC.

3. The power cable is not limited by drop in level when being laid, and the ambient temperature shall not be lower than 0 oC.

If so, the cable should to be preheated.

4. Perfect chemical stability, resistant against acids, alkalis, grease and organic solvents, and flame.

5. Light weight, perfect bending properties, installed and maintained easily and conveniently.

Q: How much current can the six square copper wire be able to withstand?
EVD and set-top box at the same time connected to the TV method:
Q: Wire on the 3 +2 with 4 +1 What is the meaning, please speak of the popular point, too professional do not understand.
Yes, close to the ceiling below the security, buy 25X20 enough. Home air switch according to your own home power selection, 1 kilowatts by 4.5A current calculation, such as: your total power is 3 kilowatts, the current is 13.5A, to buy 16A open and missed.
Q: It hurts, and then you will be detours later, but the poles are still there! What is the original statement of that sentence! The More
If there is a group of two groups of weak lines, in order to prevent interference, should be more than 200mm distance, the specific requirements should be based on the scope of electromagnetic fields.
Q: Electrical wiring is commonly composed of metal covered in plastic or rubber coating. Which of these materials is an insulator and which is a conductor?
non okorder
Q: i know both of them are great conductors for electricity, but why is copper better and/or safer?
The crystalline structure of copper is more suited to distribute electrons between cells. This means lower resistance to the current flow which means less lost energy in the power lines. Flip side: Aluminum is better than copper because it is much cheaper and lighter weight. Aluminum is usually used in high voltage lines. From source 1: CHARACTERISTICS COPPER ALUMINUM Tensile strength (lb/in2).55,000 25,000 Tensile strength for same conductivity (lb). 55,000 40,000 Weight for same conductivity (lb). 100 48 Cross section for same conductivity (C.M.). 100 160 Specific resistance (W/mil ft). 10.6 17 Also, wires usually contain a lot of smaller strands due to skin effect (see the wiki page).
Q: I had a home inspection and the inspector pointed out a couple of instances where electrical wiring is in contact with some gas pipes and should be corrected. Why is this a problem?
This is a problem because if the electrical wire somehow creates a spark the gas line could explode
Q: I want to replace a switch (not 3 way) with a switch that also has a plug on it. Does it wire the same? If you could check out my other question
From your question It is clear to me you need to hire an Electrician to do this job for you. Hey these guys have got to earn a living too! Consider the safety factor for you and your Family. A good Electrician is worth his weight in Gold!!
Q: I bought a new stove and plug that is 50 amp. My fuses on my wire to the stove is 35amp. I want to see if I can just change out my fuses to make it 50 amp, but I dont know what the rating is on my wire going to the stove.
You must look at the wires themselves to first determine their gage and secondly, you must determine their length(run) between the fuse box and the outlet. The longer the run,the larger in diameter the wires must be, to handle the total amperage the appliance can consume at it's most loaded moment. These details are necessary to know so that you can work the necessary mathematics to calculate what size wire is needed to complete the job with a margin of safety. These calculations must include a recommended service supply box along with recommended fuse types.-Again, their must be a margin of safety involved. Better to over-build the wiring AND install the correct type of fuse.
Q: I have a '49 ford truck, w/350 v8 Chevy engine. The fan is currently hot wired straight to the battery. How do I connect it to the ignition so the fan goes off when I shut off the engine?
Install okorder
Q: I am installing recessed canister lights in a basement room and I ran into a problem. 3 of the holes that I cut out of the ceiling happened to be right next to several other cables that provide electricity to other parts of the house. The lights in the canisters are 45W R20 bulbs and the canisters themselves are 5 3/8 diameter and will practically touch these lines if I install them in the current holes. Will this canister get hot enough to damage the other wires and cause a dangerous situation or should they be far enough away from the light itself? Also the house is a '91 so the electrical lines should all be 90 c degree temp rating.
The cannisters will simply absorb the heat. The wire you are adding has a pretty good heat rating and is designed for such applications. I do this stuff all the time. Go for it!
