Brief Introduction
XLPE insulated power cable has a number of advantages over paper insulated and PVC insulated cable. XLPE power cable has high electric strength, mechanical strength, high-ageing resisting, environmental stress resisting anti-chemical corrosion, and it is simple construction, using convenient and higher operating of long term temperature. It can be laid with no drop restriction.
The flame-retardant and non-flame retardant XLPE cable can be manufactured with three technologies (peroxide, silane and irradiation cross-linking). The flame-retardant cable covers all kinds of low-smoke low-halogen low-smoke halogen free, and non-smoke non-halogenated and three classes of A,B,C.
Product Description:

6. Standards: IEC 60502. IEC, BS, DIN, ASTM, CSA, NFC, AS, GOST etc. Or other special characteristics as customers request.
Application Conditions
1. The long-time permissible operation temperature of conductor shall not be higher than 90oC.
2. Conductor maximum short circuit (not more than 5 seconds) temperature shall not be higher than 250 oC.
3. The power cable is not limited by drop in level when being laid, and the ambient temperature shall not be lower than 0 oC.
If so, the cable should to be preheated.
4. Perfect chemical stability, resistant against acids, alkalis, grease and organic solvents, and flame.
5. Light weight, perfect bending properties, installed and maintained easily and conveniently.

- Q:Hi,I am looking at installing a 8l fridge between the seats of my 4x4 ute, as it doesnt have a console. The problem is that i dont know exactly how to wire it up the way i want. I want to install a 12v plug through a rocker switch, so that when the switch is off, the power to the 12v plug is only on when accessories is on with the stereo etc. But i want it so that when the switch is flicked on, the power to the 12v plug is constantly there, whether the key is on or not, and the blue led in the switch is on as well. is this possible? sorry if it is confusing.thanks for any help
- Your best bet is to find a power source at your fuse block and find a spot that has power when you just have the accessories on. that way the power is on with accessories and off when you turn off the ignition. Hope this helps out?

- Be careful, as you never know what wires were hooked to what. That convention sounds right, but not everyone follows convention. Yes, the green is ground, and it usually connected to a green screw in the appliance meant for that purpose.

- You swapped the hot neutral wires coming from your circuit breaker to the outlet you worked on, and other outlets in your room. Not to worry too much - it's repairable. 1. make sure the circuit breaker popped open (or the fuse blew open.) leave alone until step 9. 2. use a voltmeter at your outlet and make sure there is no power carried to the outlet. You should set the meter to AC (alternating currrent) and in the US, the scale you select should be greater than 220 Volts (less than 220 V could fry the meter.) If you have an auto-ranging DVM (digital voltmeter) it will set itself. Plug the black wire into Ground and Red wire into VAC on the meter. To measure the voltage, plug the black wire into one of the wide slots and the red wire into the other wide slot -- you should not measure any voltage. 3. pull out the outlet from the wall and remove all 3 wires, including the ground. I would throw away the outlet and get a new one. 4. check the wires and cut-off any burned insulation, and strip insulation off about 3/8 of an inch. Form each wire into a small question mark shape - a clockwise-facing open loop. 5. attach the bare copper wire (ground) to the green grounding screw, located at the bottom by itself. 6. attach the white wire to the silver screw 7. attach the black wire to the brass screw 8. Reinstall the outlet into the box and coverplate. 9. Reset the circuit breaker (or replace the burned fuse with exact same value.) 10. Use your voltmeter to check power at the outlet. You should measure 110 V across the two blade openings in the outlet. You are good to go.
