Q: How to deal with the dirty carpet?: Send it to the dry cleaning shop.

Q: There are differences b/t carpet pythons, so please don't answer unless you know your JUNGLES. How old do you think my new 12-inch JUNGLE carpet python is? I have received several answers-- she's a hatchling, she's 5 months old, she's 5 weeks old, etc. I was recently told that jungles hatch at 4-6 inches. Need a more definite answer! Thanks!: She's got to be 5 to 6 months old. I have a yearling male who's about 2 feet long now. But the size of the snake depends on how often you feed it. The more frequently the specimen is fed, the faster it will grow.

Q: I wash my bathroom rugs 3 times a week, but then I also buy new ones about every 3 months. Am I washing mine too often? It seems to me I should wash them more often.What about the kitchen? I wash mine 2times a week.Am I weird, or dirty?: only a couple times a year, and NO your not dirty, although I probably am a little and I'm sure you think so too, lol but I do think this rug washing behavior is a little over the top I say about once a month is good which is somewhere in between us although, if this makes you happy, go and wash your heart out!

Q: I am planning on getting a Carpet Python in a couple of months and wanted to know a few things about them as I am still learning about them and I like to really know about a snake before purchasing.1. Do Carpets like climbing when adults?2. Do carpets like to be held after their nippy stage?(After Maturing a bit)3. If I started him off in a big tank would it be ok? or would i have to use a smaller tank then progress?Any other cool things you guys know about Carpets I would love to hear about also!Thanks in advance! :): Carpet Pythons are semi arboreal, so they will appreciate some things to climb on when they are young and old. But as they get older they will need some pretty sturdy branches. Depending on what locality you get, it may get anywhere from 6'-12'. Carpet Pythons actually mellow out a lot when they mature a bit. They are fine with being handled, and it'll make it easier on you. You could start off in a big tank, but you have to make sure that the snake feels secure. Lots of hides, branches, etc. Plus you need to make sure there's enough heat for the whole cage. I would start off in a smaller tank if you can, but you don't have to. And one other tip about Carpet Pythons, unlike most snakes, which are usually fed prey the size of the fattest part of the snakes body, they actually can eat prey that are bigger than that, and prefer it.

Q: I have light carpets (builder special!) and a 2 yr. old and a 4 yr. old. I keep them clean (the carpets and the kids!), but hate to pay for the professional carpet cleaners all that often. I often use Woolite OXY Clean, but I just keep finding more spots. Seems a daily battle. Does anyone know a quot;home remedyquot; I can use to spot remove? I have tried Oxy Clean, and even tho my carpet it light it has bleached some places.: If you don't find the stain right away, mix a diluted solution of vinegar, soap and water. Dampen a cloth with this solution and press firmly against the stain for several moments. Blot dry with a a rinse cloth. You can also mix equal parts salt and baking soda, add several drops of white vinegar and enough water to make a paste. Check carpet for color fastness, then apply the paste to the stain and let it set. When it's dry, brush it away and the stain should go with it. For a particulary nasty stain, scrub it when you first apply the paste.

Q: I just got my rug back from the dry cleaner and it looks dull and still smells like mice urine.Is there a product that would revive the colors?: This urine stained rug should have been cleaned by a hot water extraction carpet cleaner, who would have soaked the rug overnight in an enzyme solution, followed by a complete rinse and extraction prior to drying.

Q: got new carpet it stained does they carpet have warranty? and they damaged my walls mad them dirty made wholes and chipped off the paint: Holes in the wall are unacceptable although some scratches on the lower walls and baseboard are to be expected. If you have a stain master carpet it is guaranteed. Check the paperwork that came with it. For the prices they charge they should fix everything.
