Q: Having trouble on an older computer trying to get the middle speaker to work all the others work just fine. Anyone have any ideas why all speakers including sub work except the one middle speaker.
You need dolby 5.1 sound signal to utlize all of the speakers.
Q: I have a 50x4 headunit, I also have 4x150rms speakers. Why do people amp there speakers, will it make a difference, why should I do it.
because if your speakers are lets say 150watts RMS total all 4, and our radio is 50watts output, thats about 14watts rms each, 1/3 the wattage the speakers need to be fully powered. also, the amp gives you cleared more indept sound. you cant compair the quality of an amped speaker set to a non amped speaker set.
Q: I might buy these klipsch surround speakers and this polk center speaker but i wanted to know if i could run them with my z5500. Or if i NEED to buy a reciever
you need to buy a receiver yamaha and onkyo would be my recommendations
Q: Can Portuguese speakers understand spoken Spanish?
Many Spanish speakers claim Italian is easier to understand, while some think Portuguese is easier. The truth is, If an average Spanish speaker pays close attention and makes an effort, they will see that Portuguese is much easier to understand than Italian, as Portuguese shares a lot more words in common with our language than Italian and the grammar is a lot more identical. The only thing that inhibits understanding on the Spanish side is their pronunciation and their nasal sounds which don't exist in Spanish, as Spanish only has five simple sounds and Portuguese has about fourteen or so. This is why Portuguese speakers understand Spanish speakers much better than the other way around.
Q: i am getting a home theater system (onkyo ht-s6200), i also want to get a set of floor standing speakers (sony ss-f6000). the standing speakers are 8 ohms and the receiver is a 6 ohm set. would this matchup create a problem or not?
From reading the two specifications pages for your products (linked below) it looks like you amp can handle speaker impedances from 6-16 ohms, but its rated output in watts drops, the higher the speaker impedance. For your 8 ohm speakers the output will drop to 100 watts from 130 watts for your current speakers. That means there will be a minimal decrease in output, because the amp faces more load, but it is still well within the capabilities of your amp. If you were to decrease the ohm load of your speakers, you could have a problem because the speakers would draw more power from your amp than in it capable of delivering, causing it to blow a fuse.
Q: I have speakers and i have no clue how to hook them up to my tv. The line that comes out of my speakers is just like a wire here is a picture.
Normally you would need to run your TV into a receiver or amplifier and hook up speakers there. TVs usually don't have amplified sound to run external speakers. (I looked at the specs for the VX32L and there are no speaker outputs. You can also interface with a PC, though, and use the speakers there). Is you home stereo close to the TV? If not, either move it or get a compatible receiver to run speakers in that room.
Q: i tried reinstalling the software and it didnt work the volume box is not on mute and it has not found the speakers
speakers are speakers and should work anyways but if they dont. go to the control panel and go to sounds. you then go to playback devices or playback and set the new default speakers you do this by selecting the new speaker from the list and set do default. your speakers should work then.
Q: Hello.I'd like to know how is that effect called, when the microphone input goes to speaker output and speaker output goes back to microphone, resulting in repeated amplification.Explanations why that happens or links appreciated, thanks.
You might have the software that's using the mic to pass through the speakers. So, anything you record will not only be saved to the hard disk or memory, but also come through the speakers as well. The feedback you get is a howling effect. Simply move the microphone further back from the speakers, and also turn the pass through feature off. In place of the speakers you can also use a temporary fix and put headphones in its place. This way you can hear what you're recording too.
Q: Can I put pioneer speakers in my car with the factory radio still installed. I just need to replace my busted speakers. My speakers sound horrible. :/
Yup. It is a couple of screws and 2 wires.
Q: i just bought m-adudio bx5 speakers and i dont have room anywhere on my table to put one of them other than next to pc box. is that bad for the speakers? (because of magnetism or something?
Speakers can pick up AC hum from devices. Putting speakers too close to electronic things can cause hum. It won't damage the speakers but the interference is annoying.
