- Q: i know what causes them to blow but what actully happens to the speaker when it happens?
- Well it would usually be something like the capacitors that blow in a sub, in a speaker it'd be the crossover usually.
- Q: I have a 2013 Honda Accord EX-L and I feel like the speakers are not very good. I want to upgrade my audio system with spending minimal money; problem is I know nothing about car audio. Would you suggest replacing a new car's speakers so early? Would replacing the speakers make a big difference? How hard is it to install speakers? Please give me some general insight; I'm Clueless!!
- Do not buy your speakers at Walmart. Those Boss speakers along with the others they sell there will not sound better than your stock speakers. To install its not that difficult, just be careful you do not break any clips that hold the door panels onto the doors. Also you will have to figure out which wires in the front doors are + and - and which wires in the rear doors are + and -. I would take it to a professional reliable car audio shop in your area to get an opinion/prices so that you do not ruin your brand new car.
- Q: I am buying pioneer 6X9 speakers and am running them off a kenwood 1000watt amp. i want to know what type and gauge of speaker wire i need.
- dct dre beats AMAZING
- Q: The loudspeaker can not adjust the volume.
- Step 2: Create a small speaker shortcut (open the control panel, find the sound and audio device icon, right click, find the creation of shortcuts, will prompt whether to create on the desktop, click OK)
- Q: How do they differ from regular car speakers? I have seen them for sale under the Menace, EV, and Beyma brands. How do they sound?

- Q: I have two big speakers that each have a two speakers inside of them with a total of four speakers with both big speakers. These speakers were originally TV sound system speakers, but I wanted to use them for my laptop. So I have their speaker wire in an amplifier and then I have the amplifier hooked up to my computer with a red and white cable to stereo output jack. When I play some music only the bottom speakers work, so that makes only two speakers out of four speakers working. I have also tested it on my iPod so I know that its not just my computer. So is it maybe a problem with my cable? Or are those two top speakers just blown? All my connections are good and I get good sound. Thanks for any answers in advance?
- I am kind of shooting from the hip here; I could tell you more if I could see them so this is largely assumption. Firstly, it is doubtful that the speakers are blown. The likelihood that two identical speakers would go out at the same time is extremely low. Secondly, I believe that what you are referring two as a big speaker with little speakers inside of them are actually two three-way speakers. Now, a three-way speaker uses a tweeter to produce high-frequency sound, a woofer to produce mid-range frequencies, and a woofer to produce low frequencies (in a two-way speaker a single woofer produces the low and mid-range frequencies). Now, to the possible problem. From your description of your hook-ups, I find it a little suspect. It being that this configuration would cause the speakers to work the way they were designed. There is little you could do to resolve the problem short of finding another way to attach your speakers to your computer. Also, stereo outputs are rather old-school and were not intended to be used with even TV speakers. They simply do not have the capacity to transfer enough information to the speakers. Finally, the speakers may be rated TruSurround speakers. Which means that these speakers are designed to, albeit poorly, simulate a surround sound experience with just two speakers. If this were the case, then those top speakers will only work with inputs that exceed stereo. Because in a stereo setup, only two speakers function, the left and right fronts. The two top speakers on your TV speakers may be designed to reproduce the rear signals. Therefore, they simply have nothing to reproduce when attached to a stereo source.
- Q: i am thinking about amping my back two speakers and i was wondering if i would get more power to the front speakers from an aftermarket head unit since the rear speakers arent connected to the head units wires.
- If ur get a after market head unit more than likely your front speakers will be louder but so will your rear speakers you'll have to compensate for the power difference of the head unit and make the corrections for the speakers as well I have all four door speakers amped nothin is going off my head unit beside my tweeters and it's loud as hell so just make the proper adjustments to the head unit and equal out the power by fading to the front or rear and it'll sound great any more questions hit me up
- Q: help.i have some old speakers for the computertheyre pluged in and the volume controls are all on.my best guess is that the speakers that the computer is programmed with are another pair.so with thathow do i manage to get my dell xps 600 to work with these old speakers.
- You would be better off with the pentium d 950 processor as the 900 series has 2 mb cache per core, so you would get 4 mb cache total instead of 2 mb and the price difference isnt that much, as for memory I would get 2 gb in 2 slots, 1 gb sticks
- Q: I added two stereo speakers to my computer and of course they need more power (electricity) to make them reach their full potential. How do u do that with computer speakers and my added stereo speakers. This is what I'm working with.
- Use the stereo receiver that came with the speakers. Get a minijack-to-component audio adepter and connect the component (red/white) audio cables to your receiver's line in jacks. Then set your receiver to that channel. The receiver should have an integral amplifier that will provide ample power to the speakers.
- Q: i have an 04' Maxima and tha speakers are ok but not tha loudest,, but i found out that one speaker(front left) wasnt working,, so i decided to go ahead n buy new door speakers thinkin that would fix tha problem and give me better speakers,, but i started installin with tha front left speaker n when it was all hooked up i tested it and it was REALLY soft,, all of tha other speaker seem to work fine but a couple times in tha middle of a song tha bass will seem to kick in for a breif second. Any ideas about what might b wrong??
- Step 1: Check to make sure the balancefade settings are neutral or biased to that speaker. Step 2: Do a continuity check on the speaker wire between the head unit and the speaker ends. (disconnect both ends) I suspect you have a short in the wire somewhere. If you dont have a multimeter, first check by hooking up a different speaker. If the other speaker still doesnt work then replace the speaker wire from the head unit (dont worry about running behind the dash ect yet, just hook up the speaker to see if it works).
