- Yes you can. Just don't crank the gain up too far or you might damage the speaker.

- It probably isn't the built in speakers. It's more likely the wire to the computer or the input jack. Try a new wire. If that doesn't help see if you can unscrew the jack itself and check the wires that should be attached. If all else fails try external speakers. Good luck!

- If you hear vibrating, then the speakers aren't screwed down very tight, and all you would need to do is screw them down tighter. if you hear more of a popping sound, then the speakers are blown and need to be replaced. If you replace your speakers, then look for speakers that fit, and try to find get ones with the highest sensitivity rating.

- alpine will sound better but wont take the same beating as a kicker speaker. and kickers will be louder anyhow, ive used the alpine r and s door speakers, sounded awesom but wont take the volume knob as good as other speakers, look into polk and infinity, overall great speakers

- The Bose speakers are 2 ohm speakers. The only aftermarket company that makes decent 2 ohm speakers is Infinity so I would suggest using those as replacements. You'll want to change both sides not just one speaker otherwise the sound quality will not match. You can get by with using a 4 ohm speaker from any other manufacturer but you will be reducing the output power of the stock Bose amplifier and thus losing volume.

- In the menu of ur system, you should have to option to increase or decrease the volume of each individual speaker. You should turn down the back speakers if they are too loud or turn up the other speakers to match it. It should be an easy fix

- Q: I was given 4 car speakers. There is nothing marked on them. I would like to hook them up to my 8 ohm amplifier on my paging system. Is this possible?
- Yes you can. Each car speaker is 4 ohms so you would have to hook all of them up in a series connection in order to avoid an ohm load that is below 8 so the amp doesn't fry. Hook them up like this for a 16 ohm load and you will be safe.
