Q: what are the differences between aluminium , iron , steel.... properties like strength , durability , corrosion resistance properties...finally which is cost efficient and best for all purpose..??
Brass is an alloy made of copper and zinc, and will show shades of yellow in it. Musical instruments are made from this as well as ornaments, military buttons etc. Bronze is made from copper and tin, and will appear browner in content. This allow is stronger than brass, and can be used for weapons, long lasting household items, etc.
Q: This question asks for the steps to take in order to accurately measure the dimensions of an aluminum sheet before purchasing one.

To measure the dimensions of an aluminum sheet for purchase, first, ensure you have a measuring tape or a ruler. Measure the length and width of the sheet from one corner to the opposite corner, making sure to measure along the longest and widest sides. Record these measurements in the same unit of measurement used by the supplier (commonly inches or centimeters). If the sheet is not a perfect rectangle, measure the diagonal to confirm the dimensions. Note any irregularities or variations in thickness that might affect the intended use. Once you have these measurements, compare them with the available options from the supplier to select the appropriate size.

Q: i am writing an essay about aluminium recycle,,,, and i would like to knowwhy it is important to recycle aluuminium can, what is so harmful about the wastes and some facts about aluminium.Thanx..... i would love if you give me the site address where i can find such infors...
kind of random but i saw at kmart that coca cola makes dish clothes and sheets out of there recycling.
Q: How do aluminum sheets perform in terms of thermal insulation?
When it comes to thermal insulation, aluminum sheets are not efficient. Their high thermal conductivity allows heat to easily pass through them, making them ineffective in blocking or resisting heat transfer. As a result, their thermal insulation properties are poor. If your main concern is thermal insulation, it would be more appropriate to consider other materials like fiberglass, foam, or mineral wool as they would be better suited for the task.
Q: What is the cost of aluminum sheets?
The cost of aluminum sheets can vary depending on factors such as size, thickness, and quantity. It is best to check with suppliers or retailers for current pricing information.
Q: only aluminum source i have is mountain dew cans any way to turn them quickly into a powder?or any other ideas?
Let me guess, making thermite? :P The easiest way by far to get aluminum I have found is breaking open an old EtchaSketch. That's aluminum powder in there. There are too many impurities on the can to make it easy, go to the dump and find some old EtchaSketches. Addition: Do NOT breathe in the powder, its not good for your system, it does large amounts of damage to your lungs, I suggest wearing a mask of some sort for safety. Do not take it lightly. Otherwise, have fun melting holes in the ground / someone's car / a safe / anything else you can get your hands on :P
Q: This question asks for methods to maintain and repair aluminum sheets once they have been installed.

To maintain and repair aluminum sheets after installation, follow these steps: Regularly clean the surface with a soft cloth and mild detergent to remove dirt and grime. Avoid abrasive materials that can scratch the surface. For minor scratches or dents, use aluminum filler or touch-up paint that matches the sheet's color. Apply the filler or paint carefully, following the manufacturer's instructions. For more severe damage, consider hiring a professional to assess and repair the damage to ensure structural integrity. Always check for any signs of corrosion and address them promptly to prevent further damage. Regular maintenance will prolong the life of aluminum sheets and keep them looking their best.

Q: I need to make an aluminum cylinder out of 1/8 6061 plate and tube. I don't have a TIG setup and was considering using Bernzomatic aluminum soldering rods. The cylinder will be pressurized from 20-60 psi. Assuming a clean job, is this pressure ok? How much pressure can the joint take? Also, although the solder does not need flux, should i use it anyway?
to your setup i might merely persist with the iron. It would not sound like the burden mark downs is going to be properly actually worth the greater suitable probability for a on a regular basis motive force. forged iron is merely greater rugged and can take greater abuse than aluminum. Aluminum has its place yet its no longer in a on a regular basis motive force like it variety of feels you're development.
Q: Can aluminum sheets be used in aerospace industry?
Aluminum sheets find common usage within the aerospace industry due to their numerous desirable qualities. One of the foremost advantages is their lightweight nature, a critical factor for both aircraft and spacecraft. This characteristic aids in reducing fuel consumption and increasing the capacity for payload. Another significant attribute of aluminum is its exceptional strength-to-weight ratio, which imparts structural integrity to aerospace components. Furthermore, aluminum exhibits high resistance to corrosion, ensuring longevity and durability within harsh environments. Additionally, its commendable thermal conductivity qualifies it for heat dissipation in aerospace systems. Moreover, aluminum boasts easy formability, enabling the manufacturing of intricate shapes and structures. In summary, the versatility, strength, lightness, and corrosion resistance of aluminum make it the material of choice in the aerospace industry for diverse applications, including aircraft frames, fuselage panels, wings, and engine components.
Q: have been taking an over the counter Antacid consistently for the past 8 years as a daily source of extra calcium per the bottle. Now, I am getting many nerve problems, similar to Lou Gehrig's disease. I am a healthy 38 year old male who excersises, eats right and is generally health conscious. I am concerned that unknowingly I have toxified my body with the aluminum that apparently is in Antacid. I did not know this until now or of course I would not have gone any where near it.Can taking Antacid lead to nerve problems such as Lou Gehrig's disease?
