- Q: Hi, just moved to Finland from US. Will my x box 360 works with a new powell cable? Or do I need something else besides that. And where should I get it from in Turku or Helsinki. Thank you!
- You could probably buy an adapter plug for your existing cable. Getting a whole new cable might very well mess with the machine itself, and be more expensive than a simple adapter. Just go to an electronics’ store, with the cable, (the bigger the better) and ask for a suitable adapter for it.
- Q: Suppose load is 100KW, length 50m, how to calculate cable size. If we know current Is any easy mathod to calculate cable size.
- Cable sizes aren't easily calculated. That's why standard sizes appeared ; like NEC IEC. You can search for tables of standard size of cables in the internet. For the above case, I think u'll have to use 3 phase circuit. So Calculate the current in each phase then accordingly get the corresponding cross section area from the standard table. Anyway, here below I found a table for you. : Cross section area (mm2) Amp (A) 2 10 315 4 22 6 28 10 35 16 42 25 65 35 80 50110 Don't blame me if it blew up :)
- Q: I want to install a Bazooka Powered Sub (EL84-HP) to my car. I currently have a Pioneer 4-channel 600-watt amp that has a direct power line from the battery. However, I do not want to run another power line from my battery to my Bazooka sub, which has it's own built-in 100-watt sub. Would it be OK to connect the power cable only from my Pioneer amp to my Bazooka sub?
- supplied that the main considerable ability cord taking place your sub amp is heavy sufficient to ability the two amps without an considerable voltage drop, then your plan ought to paintings high-quality. i could floor the 2d amplifier one after the different instead of connect it to the 1st amp's floor terminal, nonetheless.
- Q: I am trying to hook up a LCD display (CPU Temp, USB's in use, Memory Temp/usage, etc) and It came with a 5pin DIN connector for what I assume is the power. I am not sure what I need to do to connect it to the PSU. Any help or ideas?
- you plug it into an open 5 pin coming from the psu. P.S. monie is thinking of a monitor.this is a display for the output of censers
- Q: Regarding car audio setup, if I were to have an 8 ga power cable powering an amplifier for subs, what would happen if I were to use a smaller ga grounding cable? What if I used a larger ground cable?
- Using a larger ground should have no effect. A smaller ground could be okay but if the ground were to somehow burn from the current your amp will fry. You can 3 feet of 8ga ground for less than $10 why would you risk it.
- Q: I have a HP Printer and have lost my power cable, now I am having trouble identifying the type of lead that goes in the hole (see pic link)I am in the UK
- Q: What are the advantages and disadvantages of separating 28Vdc, 200A positive power cables and returns into two different harnesses?
- WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT ? ALL DC POWER SOURCE REQUIRES TWO SEPARATED CABLES .
- Q: lets say for an optical drive, the power cable has four pins. im guessing that there is power (12v?) and ground but what about the other two?im trying to plug a pair or old neon sticks into my car for accent lighting and i need to know where to put these wires at, if they are all neccessary.
- The four pin connector that is used to power PC drives supplies two different voltages: +12 volts for the motor +5 volts for the electonics The other two pins are ground pins. ________ / .............. |..1..2..3..4..| |.................| Pin Function 1 +5 V 2 Ground 3 Ground 4 +12 V
- Q: I recently bought a Mackie CFX20 MKII and it came with a European 2 pin power cable but I need a UK 3 pin power cable. On the plug end of the cable it says (16A 250V~) but on the connector end of the same cable it says (10A 250V~) I have no idea what cable I need to buy for this so an answer to what I need or a link to what I need would be great.Thanks.
- Be care full because a lot of european countries only have 240 volts. If you intend to use 110 make sure the mixer is switchable. If it is there will be a switch for the two different voltages. Some are made to work either way but the switch need to be in the proper position to avoid damage from either to much or not enough voltage. I work for a sound company and sometimes we get sent stuff wired for over seas. Some times it has to be exchanged because it isn't switchable. You need to contact Mackie and make sure you get the right cable. I'm sure they have a toll free number and web support. You may need to exchange the mixer.
- Q: i have a SATA hard disk and i connected it with a sata power cable and recently i bought a sata optical drive and i have no power cable for connecting the drive, so i decided to connect it with the power cable of hard disk(I have two sata hard disk)
- You might want to get these at a local computer shop though or you'll pay more for shipping than you will for the wire itself. I would suggest the 1 SATA to 3 SATA seeings as we already know you have SATA power connectors.
