FAQ

Q: What's the difference with cyclonic to multi-cyclonic filtration system?

Multi-cyclonic is where the dust container has a plastic filter section inside and has many little tunnels in it that separate the finer dust and dirt for the next filter and there is no HEPA filter in the middle plastic filter section.

Cyclonic filtration is where there is a central HEPA filter that sits inside the dust container and catches the finer dust.

Q: My vacuum just stopped while I was using it! What do I do now?

All of our vacuum cleaners have been fitted with a thermal safety cut-off switch which activates to stop the motor from burning out. When it does that it will prevent the unit from turning on again until it has cooled sufficiently to reset, which is between 2 – 4 hrs. The most common reason for safety cut-off switch activated is the filters needs to be cleaned. Please read the instruction manual and follow the instructions on how to clean the filters.

Q:I hate vacuum cleaners because they're so loud and I'm sensitive to loud noises.
The Miele S5 Canisters are the quietest vacuums ever created! They have special sound insulation that makes them very quiet. The new silence setting combines the lowest noise output with the ideal power level for optimum cleaning results. If you were to put the machine on the silence setting (two notches below the highest setting) the machine would be still pick up great, and be extremely quiet. When I am on the silence setting it is quieter than a pot of boiling water! I have a Miele Callisto right now and I am so surprised by how quiet it is. I got my Callisto from Mr. Vac and Mrs. Sew for only $699 (Phone Special You have to Call to Get that Price) ($799 everywhere on the internet) and that handled everything professionally. The man on the phone was nice and it came with free fast shipping and no tax because I am out of state (They are in NY).
Q:I have a bag-less dyson vacuum cleaner, and it does a great job vacuuming. Thing is it's getting really dirty. I have asthma, so I really don't want to clean it myself, since there's all manner of dust and what not in it's hoses and other pieces. I empty it's quot;bagwhen I use it and I wash the filters from time to time, but that doesn't keep it from getting really dirty in other places. Are there businesses that clean vacuum cleaners? If so, where can I find them?
You can wash the plastic canister out and let dry.
Q:Lawnmowers, vacuum cleaners, weird noises in general ect... ??? Thank you for answering.
In the summer my dog is always chasing bees and flies round the garden trying to eat them. just hope he does not catch a bee
Q:What's the difference between vacuum and centrifugal dust collection?
In the process of using, the traditional vacuum cleaner is difficult to maintain in the later stage of air intake
Q:need to find a good vacuum that can clean big areas of carpet, help remove all the nasty things in the air and take away pet hair.. by the way its a house of 9 people 3 dogs and 3 puppys (around 1 month old that are growing really fast)... please help me out here...
Hi, okorder /
Q:Why do cats hate vacuum cleaners so much? We have three loud kids in our household, dishwasher, washing machine, motor bike etc and the cat doesn't worry. Start the vacuum cleaner and that is a whole other story. She will bolt and hide under my doona. Why do cats hate them so much and has anybody ever had or met a cat that doesn't mind vacuum cleaners?
our cats hate them too. I think its because there louder the washing machines and dishwashers. motor bikes are loud but they are kept out side or in a garage not inside. I also think there scared of them because you move them about and they might think you you will hit them with it or suck them up (lol) or something. No need to worry if your that worried about it put them in a different room or put them out side. All cats are the same!! Our cats hate them our white cat runs and stays on the window sill and the other stays on the sofa!!
Q:Does small industrial vacuum cleaners work perfectly ?
anything called industrial means it's built better (with steel rather than plastic) and lasts longer and cleans better. Everything you use takes a little work on your part though.
Q:Hi there - I've been given an OLD Elextrolux vacuum cleaner (a canister one) that seems to have lost some suction...and I'm wondering if it would be worth it to get it fixed? I do realize this is more of an opinion question...My main concern is not spending as much $$ to get this vacuum fixed as it would to buy a new vacuum! Thanks.
i'm surprised that it doesn't work. parts may be a problem
Q:Money is very tight right now and my old, old, old vacuum cleaner truly bit the dust permanently. When I went to wal-mart to look at new vacuum cleaners I became rather confused and bewildered over the selection. I have been left behind with the 1970's style vacuums. Yes, I know - it's rather pathetic. Can anybody out there make a suggestion? I do not want to spend over $150-160. I have short pile wall to wall carpeting and linoleum.Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
I recommend trying to find a used Electrolux at a thrift store, yard sale, or pawn shop. This the old style Electrolux, not the new ones found in department and home improvement stores. They're much better than most new vacuums purchased today, and you may be able to get one for far less than your price. I've picked them up for around $20 before, and with some repairs, still comes up to less than $150. It should last for years. You can buy cheap new vacuums, but they generally don't last long, and the warranties usually aren't as good as they sound.
Q:there lot many usb vacuum cleaners are available in the market of different rates, but this kind of vacuum cleaner has enough suction power to suck the dust from the air vent(which is near to the fan) of the laptop? Please give suggestion as i m going to buy this if its good then bec. i have problem that my laptop's air vent is block due to dust, so its creating thermal shutdown problem....so please suggest me weather its good to buy or not ? or either please suggest me its alternative to solve my problem?
Valid points. Dont blow the dust Into the remove as much physically as possible then us a high power vacuum. Cut a hole in a sock and put over the nozzle if you must but the static is mute providing the lapto is plugged in (grounded) Canned air shouldnt be Injected into the case, as it comes out ice cold and may leave warer droplets in circuitry, not to mention blowing all the now damp dust all over the Motherboard making continuity where you dont want it
