FAQ

Q: What's the difference with cyclonic to multi-cyclonic filtration system?

Multi-cyclonic is where the dust container has a plastic filter section inside and has many little tunnels in it that separate the finer dust and dirt for the next filter and there is no HEPA filter in the middle plastic filter section.

Cyclonic filtration is where there is a central HEPA filter that sits inside the dust container and catches the finer dust.

Q: My vacuum just stopped while I was using it! What do I do now?

All of our vacuum cleaners have been fitted with a thermal safety cut-off switch which activates to stop the motor from burning out. When it does that it will prevent the unit from turning on again until it has cooled sufficiently to reset, which is between 2 – 4 hrs. The most common reason for safety cut-off switch activated is the filters needs to be cleaned. Please read the instruction manual and follow the instructions on how to clean the filters.

Q: Do you think working a job selling vacuum cleaners would be a sucky job?
yes. I am the worst salesperson ever. I am too empathic and honest.
Q: Where can i get good deals on dirt devil vacuum cleaners and supplies?
You okorder It's the best vacuum cleaner OKorder store
Q: Everytime I run it, it omits this foul odor?? My dad thinks it's normal, but he's a hillbilly. I KNOW it's not normal. I must know what it is.
You probably need to change the vacuum bag. I clean houses for a living and your vacuum cleaner will smell like whatever you suck up. If I clean a house that has a lot of animals and I suck up a lot of pet hair and then I clean another house after that without changing the bag, the vacuum will emit that animal hair smell into the other house.
Q: My vacuum cleaner has recently lost all suction. I've cleaned out the filters, and made sure the tubes aren't clogged with gunk, and everything is pretty clear. Any other suggestions? I'd rather try to fix it then buy yet another new vacuum.
Bin it! Its easier to buy a new one than mess around with your old one! U can get a new one cheap nowadays!
Q: Has anyone with pet allergies tryed the Hepa Air Cleaner? How well does it work?
I have one and the people in my house who have allergies don't seem to react...
Q: Every vacuum I've had has broken. Two Bissells and Eureka. Cleanview Helix, The other Bissel is the powerforce compact, and the Eureka Optima. Anyways, the rollers stop rolling, and when I try to use them now, the smell of rubber is in the air. Is this from running over cat litter, and aquarium pebbles? Yeah, I tried replacing the belts, and cutting the hair off the roller, and they just don't work anymore. It's so frustrating. Been going through this for like two years now, and we went through two vacuum cleaners, this year!Should I see about changing the filters? Could that be it? So, so frustrating!!!!!!
Send them back to the manufacturer.
Q: I currently have a Bissell bagless. It just seems where I live (rural area) I am vacuuming 3-4 times a week and although I take the vacuum apart and clean regularly, it just doesn't seem to pick-up like I think it should. Anyone have an opinion on the Dyson vacuum cleaners? I am considering purchasing one and would like to know what you like or dislike about it. Thank you
I have the purple dyson animal 07. I love it for the most part. You wouldn't believe how much that thing picked up the first time, and still picks up. That being said, I got a special deal on mine or I wouldn't have bought it. It was on sale at Kohls for $450, and then I got about $100 Kohls cash back when I purchased it, and a $100 Kohl's gift card by mail, making the Dyson about $250. It's a good vacuum, but not worth $500. There are comparable vacuums out there in the $200- $300 range (Oreck IS NOT one of them, don't get an Oreck). It's very easy to empty, but here's the thing, no matter how good the suction is, the roller still gets clogged and tangled with hair. I have long hair, and we have a golden retriever, so I'm cleaning that roller about every other week. And it makes a really bad sound when it gets too tangled. But I think that would be the case with any vacuum. It is easy to use, and pretty. I think the attachments are also a little pricey. I do like the cleaner, Zorba, that comes with it.
Q: hair cut for long periods of time just to buy a new one???
It's called stop wasting your money and buy me a flatscreen.
Q: attack and bark at the vacuum??? Its cute but at other times its annoying! I want her to get used to it, so I leave her inside when I vacuum. She is a German Shepherd Dog, if that has anything to do with it! She is a dominate female too. What can I do to get her to stop it? Thanks!!
forget it, the vacuum comes out occasionally and not enough for a dog to get used to / remember dogs think like dogs not people and your pup barks under the influence of confusion, she doesn't know what this unit is or understand what the carpet ie or what dirt is either. YOU CANT STOP this behavior, put her downstairs during vacuuming. respect her dislike for the vacume my Shepperd circles my lawnmower and attacks the wheel lifting it up in the air, and will never like or understand the lawn mower and like the vacuum they make a confusing noise
Q: Do you like Sharks? Why.?
I believe sharks are awesome creatures. People have made them out to be villains. People are angry at sharks because they someimes bite but consider the fact that when swimming at the beach were in a shared ecosystem. The sharks were there first so we should respect them. If I was a shark I would probably be angry that 100s of people swim around in my home. Also when sharks bite their not necessarly trying to eat someone. They dont have hands and their fins arent effective in feeling something so they use their teeth. Their just trying to feel and unfortunately it involves their teeth but once again its their turf. Sooooo I love sharks because their beautiful enough said : )
