Q: I'm ready to pull my hair out.I can't seem to figure out how to use the standard normal distribution table to find Z.The question isWe want to investigate a claim about the average sound intensity of certain vacuum cleaners. Suppose the sound is a random variable having a normal distribution with a standard deviation of 3.6 dB. Specifically, we shall want to test the null hypothesis u = 75.20 against the alternative hypothesis u gt; 75.20 no the basis of measurements of the sound intensity n = 15 of these machines. If the probability of a Type I error is to be a = 0.03, what is the probability of a type II error for u = 77 dB.How do I use the normal distribution table to find a = 0.03. The only thing I know is that I have to do 1 - a.After that I can't seem to find out the rest of it. Please. Plesae just help with that.
It means like this.... In making a vacuum cleaner, since it is fairly complicated and made of many parts and does not come out exactly the same every time it is made, there are many small random effects that contribute to the amount of noise that the vacuum cleaner makes. The normal distribution is what we see whenever there are many random effects that are added together. If the same random effects apply every time, and the same measurement and sampling method is used the same time, then the distribution of the measurements will fit the normal distribution.
Q: Where is a place in Louisiana to buy one? Is there a Dealership?
I had one it's a pain to drag around and horrible if you have stairs. It's heavy when filled with water. Get a Sebo or Panasonic instead.
Q: Who has owned and recommends Electrolux vacuum cleaners?
I am really picky about vacuums and their performance(s). If you are purchasing a new vacuum, try a Dyson...I bought one 7 months ago and it is awesome! The cost is comparable to electrolux etal and its' cleaning ability is second to none
Q: Why do vacuum cleaners have lights on the front, do they expect you to vacuum at night?
No, but they do expect you to vacuum in dark areas of a room, such as corners, under furniture, etc.
Q: What's the difference between vacuum and centrifugal dust collection?
The traditional vacuum cleaner is a high-speed rotating motor to drive the blades to rotate, so that the air is constantly excluded, and the formation of a pressure difference with the outside, the air from the suction port high-speed wind.
Q: I live in a 35ft Fifth-wheel Camper and i'm struggleing to find a Small vacuum that dose a good job taking care of my carpets.
I use a vacuum called the shark at work and in my own home. They are battery operated and need to be charged but they work well in small spaces if you get the high powered ones!
Q: Is there any difference between any Hoover Vacuum Cleaners or are they all the same?
There are different prices and different features. All Hoover products work well. I've been a Hoover user for 50 years.
Q: I heard Dysons are very nice, but they are very expensive. I could save up for one but it is all its cracked up to be? Are there any less expensive vacuum cleaners out there that are worth the money? I want one that doesn't clog easy and can pick up pet hair. Also preferably one that isn't too messy to dump it contents. Thanks ! :)
The answer to the question can change every month. Go to a vacuum repair shop that also sells new and ask them their recommendation, I did when I bought my Sharp 8 years ago and still love it.
Q: Is Kirby Vacuum Cleaners a scam?
Yes because I had 3 days to cancel and the address to send cancellation was the wrong address. I never got a responds . So now I m paying a $2000.00 dollar loan. Wish I had got a Dyson .The Kirby vacuum is very heavy and using the attachments can be time consuming and difficult .
Q: Skimmers are machines like vacuum cleaners that pull up the oil from the surface of the water. The water must be calm in order for skimmers to be effective.
Your own original version is better than any of the commenters' suggestions. Nothing wrong with the original at all.
