Q: thank you..are the y functioning well?: Well they are not as powerful as big vacuum cleaners but they are worth buying.

Q: I am apparently having some media trust issues--commercials are DESIGNED to get us to Buy their products, and the company , if called up on will say the BEST things...so I depend on consumer experience to decide upon a number of items! I interviewed at least a dozen folks when looking for my car, at grocery lots and gas pumps, and when 100% were thrilled with their automobile, that did it for me and what the salesman said was just confirmed by my own research.Over the years I have had a dozen electric floor sweepers, and none of them have been the 'cat's pajamasquot;! So, has anyone actually HAD a Dyson, ball rolling mechanism cleaner and if so, has it justified it's $400.00 dollar price tag in your estimation? How as the suction performed and has it stayed reliable? Any details will be helpful!Thanks!: I've had a Dyson for over 4 years now and love it just as much now as I did when I bought it. It isn't a ball model, but it works great for us. It never loses suction as the ads state. The only part I've needed to replace is the filter and that was because I sucked up drywall dust and when I cleaned the filter it turned to sludge. I bought mine as a store floor model and it was 1/2 price (around $250). I highly recommend buying the Dyson. I have seen them cheaper than $400 on OKorder.

Q: There are many other things in our houses that make a racket, and the dogs and kitties are alright with them, but, drag out the Hoover, and, wow!, it's as if you were coming after them with a chainsaw.Why is this?: Probably because the vacuum is bigger than them, it's close to the floor, and they feel the loud noise is something trying to attack them. My cat is scared of my vacuum too. I play a little chasing him, but I don't really bother him with it. Sometimes, animals aren't scared, because they know you control the vacuum, and you won't hurt them. Krazy Libra

Q: Okay its the commercial where the women are using these vacuum cleaners and when they are vacuuming its sqeaking. It sounds like a bunch of dog toys. I know this is confusing! Q: Why do cats hate vacuum cleaners so much? We have three loud kids in our household, dishwasher, washing machine, motor bike etc and the cat doesn't worry. Start the vacuum cleaner and that is a whole other story. She will bolt and hide under my doona. Why do cats hate them so much and has anybody ever had or met a cat that doesn't mind vacuum cleaners?: Every cat we had acted the same when we turn the vacuum cleaner on. They are completly terrified. One actually goes crazy of fear, starts miau-ing desperatly, and later, when its queit, she gets scared of everything that moves arround her for hours... When u vacuum, first put the cat out, its all u can do for them.

Q: umm my gf does it all the time and idk if your suppose to: you can actually rinse these with water to remove dirt, but then let dry before reusing
