- Q:I got this book on spiritual housecleaning and it says to remove any object that may be associated with the devil - and I have a dirt devil brand vacuum cleaner - is this evil and do I need to remove it from my home? The only thing I do with it is vacuum the floor - and I don't have any other use for it.
- Yes, and the Wizard Air Spray will turn you into a toad for asking. And If you have a Spirit Bank in your community, don't bank there. And if you have a Tampa ball team shirt (Devill Rays) throw it out and burn it, and burn the store you bought it in and burn the town down. Just to be safe. Any Dentist that has a cartoon of the Tooth Fairy, burn it, any Disney cartoon or Fairly Odd Parents cartoon, burn it, Even saying the word Devil is dangerous. Just say Dev for short. He knows. I think there is a leprechaun named Kirby so that vacuum cleaner is out too. and for sure a Gargoyle named Hoover. Run, burn your house down and jump in the river. It is the only safe way to live. Boo.
- Q:What are the important parameters of the vacuum cleaner?
- Vacuum: an important indicator of suction size. The index is also related to power. The greater the general power, the higher the index should be
- Q:My Bissell finally died. I used to love Bissell but that was the worst vacuum I had ever bought. I am looking at canister vacuums now. I see the Kenmore has a high rating as well as the Electrolux and the Miele. I want something that will last and has low noise and cleans carpets wonderfully. Any knowledgeable vacuumers out there?
- I have a Kenmore Canister with a HEPA filter I love it! I don't need to worry about finding the right replacement bags ever again, I just rinse out the canister (not the filter though) with water to clean it. I also like that I empty the canister more often than I would replace a bag in a regular upright, so in my mind, it's a little cleaner :) Dyson's seem like an amazing vacuum as well, but has a price tag thats out of my range.
- Q:i hate those things, man. idk why.. how do you feel about em?
- I think it is impossible to clean a carpet properly without one. If you don't get over your hatred of vacuum cleaners, you are going to be living in a pig sty. Your Mum is not always going to be there to clean up after you. And you future wife will be an idiot if she lets you get away with, Oh! I can't help you vacuum. I hate vacuum cleaners. What a woos.
- Q:my apartment is cleaned everyday and we vacuum everyday and we have unburned scented candles all over the apartment 1-2 for each room,,we come home and it smells so good and feels like were walking into a modeled home everyday, but we want more of a cleaner smell would getting a air cleaner or air purifier make it smell alot cleaner
- Based on my experience with air purifiers / air cleaners (same thing, different names), you would need a unit with substantial amounts of activated carbon in order for it to properly filter out the bad odors. Other types of filtration (i.e. ionic, hepa) are simply ineffective when it comes to odor removal. Good luck!
- Q:Pun intended.
- Cause they're thirsty
- Q:Example: If I had a vacuum cleaner and I turned it on and got another vacuum cleaner and turned it on; both vacuum cleaners are the same. Will the noise stay the same or be louder?I can see it being louder, but I think it will stay the same because it is the same noise which wouldn't really contribute to the loudness of the noise.
- It depends. A vacuum cleaner is probably a bad example. A vacuum generates more of a white noise than a tone or particular 'sound' that could be easily tested or studied. Practically speaking and actually taking measurements, you'll probably find it louder, but not twice as loud. Pressure waves (sound) can be additive, or they can cancel each other out depending on their phase. If two identical pressure waves are exactly in phase, the result is a doubling of their amplitude. If they are exactly out of phase, they cancel each other out and you won't hear anything.
- Q:Washing MachinesVacuum CleanersDishwashersDryersElectric IronsHand held hair dryers
- Individually, the time line could spread out over 60 or 70 years. As a whole, there are still items on your list that are not common in all homes. For instance, when I was married my wife did the dishwashing by hand and now I still do it the same way. I have no need for a hair dryer but if I did, what other type would I be likely to use in my home other than a hand held?
- Q:We have had a rainbow vacuum SE for several years now and the power nozzle recently started not working as well as it should. We have replaced the belt and cleaned the brush, but nothing has seemed to help any. Is it time to replace the motor in the power nozzle?
- Hi there, Your post doesn't say exactly how your current power nozzle is working at the moment. But i'll give you a general answer anyway. I am a technician for vacuum cleaners (and an authorised agent for rainbow). Basically there are two possibilities for the problem. The first is the bearings for the brush roller. over time the bearings can wear and stop allowing the brush to spin properly, this puts strain on the motor and can cause damage to the brush and roller. It is simple to diagnose though. Turn on your power head as per normal but with the base plate removed so you can listen more clearly. Then take the brush out so the motor is just turning with no load. If it sounds smooth with the brush out then it is more likely that it is the bearings for your brush rather than the motor that needs replacing. As a side point even if it is the motor that is noticeably faulty, it is worth replacing the brush bearings anyway so you get the best possible improvement from your work. The bearings aren't dear to buy anyway. If you need a place to buy the parts for your rainbow vacuum cleaner you can visit the sites below.
- Q:They look the same to me besides color. What am i missing?
- The Dyson Animal picks up all pet hairs from anywhere i know because i have used it.
