Q:Can you also give an example on what things are to be placed in a floor plan and floor finish plan. Thanks!
Floor plan is the whole layout of the house from bird's eye view. Floor finish is what you use to make the floors look good.
Q:How to calculate all the floor area and the floor area to be laid
Enter aa check the area
Q:I've received advise to screw the floor with screws and that should stop the squeaks... this was done, but the floor stills squeaks... what is my next option to fix this problem, I am thinking of selling and trying to fix the place up, please help.
Assuming you can not get to the underside of the floor, nails or screws ARE the best answer. However first you need to find a floor joist and which direction it is oriented under your floor. Once you are CERTAIN you have found a floor joist, others should be 16 inches on center away. Install nails (generally finish nails) or screws about 2 inches apart along the joist
Q:my mom is low on money and wants me to fix the floor by putting the tiles in our unfinished basement. i haven't done this before and i want some suggestions on how to do it and any advice i should know about doing this. its going to be the first floor put down in my basement so i wont have to tear anything out.
Floor tiles are a great investment in your home. They're attractive, virtually never wear out and they're easily cared for. As an extra bonus, you can install them yourself. Any special tools you might need can be rented. All you need to supply is labor and patience.
Q:what does it mean, that your pool has a sponge floor?
Obviously the floor of the pool isnt made of sponge, so I have no idea. Is that something that someone said, or what? Where did the question come from? If it is something somebody said to you, it's probably just meant in a discriptive sense. I did a search on google, nothing came up.
Q:year after years, the vinyl floor very hard to get it out from the plywood floor.
How to take an old vinyl floor up, depends a great deal on how it was intalled. Some are not glued at all. These come out simply by cutting around them. Some are glued only around the perimeters... a few slits here and there, and some tugging, and these will come up. Many have underlayment, to help provide a smoother surface.... with these, especially, if the vinyl is fully glued down... it is easier to score the vinyl and underlayment, and pry up the underlayment (with the vinyl still glued to it) If the old vinyl is glued directly to the subfloor, and the subfloor is in decent condition... needs no repairs. I would think about simply installing a thin underlayment over the old vinyl, and then install the new vinyl over that. (use screws, not nails, to attach the underlayment, hehe) Have Fun
Q:I use a clean and wax product and the floor does not get very clean. What can I use that is safe to clean the floor before I add the wax product?
This Site Might Help You. RE: How to clean kitchen floor? I use a clean and wax product and the floor does not get very clean. What can I use that is safe to clean the floor before I add the wax product?
Q:What is the meaning of the floor speed?
You should be to strengthen the floor, it is touch the factory whip broken Zhuang Biao coupon wave surface of the surface layer of wear resistance (hardness) the higher the higher the higher the degree of wear, generally more than 8000 for the basic qualified, but now large A lot of turn
Q:for both ceiling and floor functions, how do you evaluate each for different values of x?also, is there a relationship between them?
ceiling: Round up to nearest integer floor: Round down to nearest integer floor or ceiling of an integer simply gives the same integer you started out with. Examples: floor(4.5) = 4 ceil(4.5) = 5 floor(4) = 4 ceil(4) = 4 floor(4.1) = floor(4.9) = 4 ceil(4.1) = ceil(4.9) = 5 floor(x) <= ceil(x) where <= means less than or equal to For integers n, m with m 0: ceil(n/m) = floor((n+m-1)/m)
Q:this summer, my a/c was leaking water causing wet spots on the floor.i used a towel to try to dry but then over the course of weeks my floor began to buckle. i dont know what this is. it may be water under the floor. will this be a major problem? anyone know round about estimates?
First off, we need some details. Is this a floor covering that is buckling? (As in laminate flooring) Or is this the sub-floor that is buckling? (Generally particle board, OSB, or plywood, found under vinyl flooring, carpet, or other floor covering). Dimensions? (How much of the floor is buckling?) There is the off chance, also, that you have a warped floor joist. How much it is going to cost will depend on which problem you've got, what kind of floor covering, and material & labor rates in your area. OSB sub-flooring in my neck of the woods is running about $13 for a sheet of 3/4 x 4'x8'. Plywood of the same thickness and size is running about $32 per sheet. This could turn into a major problem, if you let it go. Mold can set in, and then you'd have a really nasty problem. By the way, that leak from the air conditioner was probably from dirt in the drain line. It needs to be cleaned out, or replaced, before running the AC. Without those details, we can't very well give even a rough guess at the expense to repair it. Call some local flooring contractors to come out and give you some estimates. Ask for, AND CHECK, their references. Good Luck Additional: Ok, I've checked back 3 times now, and still don't see any additional information. So my best advice with the limited details we have here, is to call in the flooring contractors as stated above. Have Fun
