How much will it cost!: Doing a room that size , you ll need a pc of carpet at least 12x28 to cover that area because of seaming. You may need more if there is a pattern . This is done with a 1/4 turn to make the least amount of carpet and some carpets you can t do that. 12x28 is 336 s/f or 37.333 s/y. But carpet is actually sold by the s/f and not s/y. Can be advertised on a sale tag as s/y but MUST be sold per s/f. But given those numbers, it ll cost 933.33$ plus pad and installation if that isn t an installed price. Q:Does scrubbing the carpet floor work?Question Details:Right now, my dad is scrubbing the carpet with a carpet cleaner.Well, he is applying the liquid and scrubbing over it and drying it.Does that damage the carpet? Q:I used to have a cat, but haven't since I bought a house and completely remodeled it. Now the house is done, and I'd like to get a cat again. I don't like the idea of de-clawing - I think it's cruel. But, I now have expensive furniture in the house and also 2 very expensive antique persian rugs. How is a clawed cat trained not to scratch/claw these things. I've always had problems in the past with this.: First make sure you have plenty of things available that she can scratch. Its also a good idea to regularly clip her claws on a weekly basis but read up on it a bit so you where to clip too because too far of a clip will injure the blood vessels. After that theres a couple products you can get. There are certain sprays you can put on the furinture that will smell bad to your cat and may deter her from scratching. There's also sticky pads you can put on the furinture that the cat will not like the texture of. You can also get a product called safety claws that are like rubber caps for the nails and she wont be able to scratch with those. If your not into buying any products than get a spray bottle with water that you squirt the cat with whenever she starts scratching and afterwards direct her to something she can scratch. This process may take some time so you have to be ready to stick to it.
