What are the materials?
Our rattan furniture is woven by hand with environment-friendly PE rattan on strong powder-coated metal or aluminum structure with soft cushions and pillows. The cushions are usually replaceable and washable.

- You stop her from climbing on sofa .... she'll find something else, so don't even bother. And you can't stop her from doing it anyways. Just make it safer AROUND so when she's up there she can't hurt herself - that could be anything, like remove stuff from shelfs she could possibly reach, make sure she can NOT get to the window. And you can buy those little rubber cushions for coffe table corners in case she tumbles down.

- Q: I live alone in a bachelor flat, and I want to buy a couch for my living area.I want a couch that can last for a long time (durable) and a couch that requires little maintenance as far as cleaning it is concerned. So I think a leather couch would be a good couch to buy because leather couches don't require a vacuum cleaners or something if it's dirty, all I can do is to wipe a stain with a damp cloth and that's it. But what worries me with a leather couch is that it becomes damaged easily and can easily rip and have scratches and stuff. Is leather couch the best option? - Leather sounds fine. You won't really have to worry about damage that much if you don't have pets or children around. Quality is most important, leather or otherwise. We scrimped and bought a cheap sofa, it has a removable slip-cover that is easy to clean, but we are regretting our cheap purchase. A good quality sofa will age much better. Keep the colour neutral and it will also stand the test of time with any decor changes you might make in the future too.

- I would find the source of the bugs first. Are the bugs coming from behind the sofa? between the floor and wall? someplace else? First make sure no extra bugs are getting into the sofa. Next, find a spray that is safe for humans (and pets if you have any pets) and spray to kill. Once the bugs are dead, I'd find a cleaning solution or foam that might clean away the poison you used on the sofa. Good luck!

- Polyurethane has a plastic base. There is no such thing as polyurethane leather. Real leather is very durable and is made from animal hide. Polyurethane isn't able to stand up to the use and abuse leather can. Polyurethane and vinyls often crack and get disgusting looking. Simply look for the tag on the sofa and look to see what it's truly made of. In these economic times salesmen will tell you anything you wanna hear, if it means they will complete the sale.

I'm concerned about how my back cushions will look stuffed inside, because they're very malleable and have a mind of their own.
