Calcium Silicon Powder
1. Description:
Silicon Calcium Alloy is a stable compound; it is supplied in the form of solid with approximate melting point of 1245°C and boiling point 1800°C in normal atmospheric pressure.
Solubility in water reacts with moist gas and water.
Silicon Calcium Alloy is a potent deoxidizer and desulfurizer utilized in the production of high grade steels. Although Silicon itself is a powerful deoxidizer, Calcium is by far more powerful. In addition, Calcium Silicon is used to control the shape, size and distribution of oxide and sulfide inclusions improving fluidity, machinability, ductility, and impact properties of the final product. Calcium Silicon can be obtained in lump or powder form. The most widely used method for intergraded steel applications is in the form of cored wire. This is mainly because calcium has a low density and high reactivity in the ladle making it difficult to introduce and retain in the melt. Cored wire eliminates these variables.

3. Application:
(1) Silicon calcium alloy is an ideal deoxidizer and desulfurizer.
(2) CaSi is generally used in manufacturing steel of high quality and low carbon, and the same as the production of stainless.
(3) CaSi is also served as a starting material for other special alloys, such as nickel base alloy and titanium base alloy.
(4) Silicon Calcium Alloy can also be used as the inoculant of cast iron and the additive in the production of nodular cast iron.

- Metal would be Iron Maiden, hands down. After that it's mostly Blind Guardian (power metal), Nightwish (opratic/power metal), or even some thrash like Metallica. Lamb of God's saved for when I'm angry. Nothing like a variety of metal to help the day.

- Metal has evolved... Nothing stays the same after 20-30 years. It's about sub-genres of metal. Call Slipknot and System Of A Down whatever you want, but you can't change the fact that they're nu metal, or even alternative metal. I kinda like Slayer but I REALLY HATE true metal bands like Black Sabbah and Led Zeppelin.

- I'm 25. I've been listening to metal now for quite a few years. I don't see myself ever deserting the genre for another favourite. Besides, think of all the metal bands out there. Most of the members are over 30.
