Calcium Silicon Powder
1. Description:
Silicon Calcium Alloy is a stable compound; it is supplied in the form of solid with approximate melting point of 1245°C and boiling point 1800°C in normal atmospheric pressure.
Solubility in water reacts with moist gas and water.
Silicon Calcium Alloy is a potent deoxidizer and desulfurizer utilized in the production of high grade steels. Although Silicon itself is a powerful deoxidizer, Calcium is by far more powerful. In addition, Calcium Silicon is used to control the shape, size and distribution of oxide and sulfide inclusions improving fluidity, machinability, ductility, and impact properties of the final product. Calcium Silicon can be obtained in lump or powder form. The most widely used method for intergraded steel applications is in the form of cored wire. This is mainly because calcium has a low density and high reactivity in the ladle making it difficult to introduce and retain in the melt. Cored wire eliminates these variables.

3. Application:
(1) Silicon calcium alloy is an ideal deoxidizer and desulfurizer.
(2) CaSi is generally used in manufacturing steel of high quality and low carbon, and the same as the production of stainless.
(3) CaSi is also served as a starting material for other special alloys, such as nickel base alloy and titanium base alloy.
(4) Silicon Calcium Alloy can also be used as the inoculant of cast iron and the additive in the production of nodular cast iron.

- Of those genres, the only one I'm really familiar with is doom metal, the defining characteristic of which is that you play slow. The first four Black Sabbath albums, I would call archetypical doom metal. St. Vitus and Cathedral are two examples of classic doom metal bands, although I believe Cathedral expanded their musical vocabulary over the years. Black metal, I like, but don't listen to a lot. I know there's a lot of blast beats.

- True metal... Well there are different types. There's doom/stoner metal like Sabbath, and then there's stuff like speed metal such as early Metalleca and Pantera. Also I'd consider bands like Judas Preist to be metal... Then there's stuff that could be considered 'nu-metal' like Slipknot, Korn, and Deftones. ALSO you got all other types of metal inbetween like death metal, which I don't really listen to much... And Industrial metal. Idk. I like types like Sabbath, Pantera, Korn Deftones and Slipknot though. What about you?

- How old are you? Uhh.. Try Ikuinen Kaamos, Emperor, Immortal, and Ulver. Edit: man, that sucks. When I first started listening to black metal and death metal, my parents weren't to happy about it. But then they found that it hadn't really changed me and now they don't care. Emperor's newer stuff and some of their older stuff doesn't really have too much of the satanism goin' on. And Immortal doesn't have any thing to do with Satanism, I think. Or you could try Dimmu Borgir...
