Calcium Silicon Powder
1. Description:
Silicon Calcium Alloy is a stable compound; it is supplied in the form of solid with approximate melting point of 1245°C and boiling point 1800°C in normal atmospheric pressure.
Solubility in water reacts with moist gas and water.
Silicon Calcium Alloy is a potent deoxidizer and desulfurizer utilized in the production of high grade steels. Although Silicon itself is a powerful deoxidizer, Calcium is by far more powerful. In addition, Calcium Silicon is used to control the shape, size and distribution of oxide and sulfide inclusions improving fluidity, machinability, ductility, and impact properties of the final product. Calcium Silicon can be obtained in lump or powder form. The most widely used method for intergraded steel applications is in the form of cored wire. This is mainly because calcium has a low density and high reactivity in the ladle making it difficult to introduce and retain in the melt. Cored wire eliminates these variables.

(1) Silicon calcium alloy is an ideal deoxidizer and desulfurizer.
(2) CaSi is generally used in manufacturing steel of high quality and low carbon, and the same as the production of stainless.
(3) CaSi is also served as a starting material for other special alloys, such as nickel base alloy and titanium base alloy.
(4) Silicon Calcium Alloy can also be used as the inoculant of cast iron and the additive in the production of nodular cast iron.

- Different genres? Well in terms of getting away from the traditional 'Heavy Metal' sound forged by the metal bands of the 70/80s, yeah, there are tonnes of genres. Doom Metal is slower and thicker in sound than Heavy Metal. This branches out into Funeral Doom, which is really really slow and atmospheric. Then there is Sludge metal, which contains elements of hardcore, such as the vocals but utilizes the thick distorted sound in Doom Metal but takes it to an extreme level. Then there is Power and Symphonic Metal which is awesome but it is milder to the traditional metal sound, and often uses a vocalist which sings at higher pitches than other metal vocalists. It also uses some of the esoteric instruments used in Folk/Viking Metal such as keyboard, piano or even flute and full-on symphonies. Black Metal and Death Metal have taken on many different forms from the Melodic, to the Atmospheric, to the Brutal. There are many different genres for many different tastes of music. It is a very rewarding genre and there are lots of different genres.

I know that the PlayStation games start out with the first Metal Gear Solid game, and before that, there were two Metal Gear games for the NES. Unfortunately, I don't have an NES system, but I am really interested in checking the games out. So, my question is, is it really necessary to play the NES Metal Gear games in order to start on Metal Gear Solid? Does playing Metal Gear give you any understanding of the series needed for playing the first Metal Gear Solid game?

Chromium metal is used to coat other metals for similar reasons, --Chromium is less reactive than many other metals so one can “Chrome-plate” a more reactive metal with Chromium and help protect the metal from corrosion. For example, many car’s have ‘chrome-plated’ bumpers. is --Also, Chromium is a visually appealing metal so having a nice shinny Chrome-plate bumper is considered more desirable than a rusty old Iron bumper. Zinc metal is used for a much different reason, --Zinc is more chemically react than most other metals and is not a particular pretty metal either. Zinc is often used as a sacrificial metal to help protect other metals. For example, many things like nails, screws, washers, …., are Zinc-plated to help protect those [Iron] parts from rusting. The Zinc will oxidize before the Iron, thus protecting the Iron at the expense of the Zinc.
