- heavy metal, hair metal, death metal, black metal, nu metal, thrash metal, love metal. those are really the main sub-genres of metal, any others are usually either made up or just some band trying to be different. i really hate how anything can just be thrown in front of the words rock and metal. also some people will say speed metal but thats what thrash metal used to be called.

We get rid of all the other stuff we don't want. But we must use pure copper to keep the copper pure in our end product, which is much greater than the bit of pure copper we started off with. - Extracting a metal from a metal oxide IS reduction. Why? When it's part of an oxide, the metal has a charge (a metal oxide is an ionic compound). For instance, in MgO, Mg has a +2 charge and O has a -2 charge. In Al2O3, Al has a +3 charge and O is again -2. When the metal is extracted, it has NO charge. So if you extract Mg from MgO, Mg goes from a +2 charge to a 0 charge by gaining electrons ... that's reduction. At the same time, oxygen goes from a -2 to a 0 (the element O2 is formed) by giving up 2 electrons ... that's oxidation. In removing Al from Al2O3, Al goes from a +3 charge to a 0 charge. Again, that's reduction. Oxygen is again oxidized.

- i noticed that a few ppl av mentioned that hardcore is jus a repetition of the same riffs and onli using two fingers to play them. in some cases this is mor than likely but e.g. bring me the horizon(dodgy vocals i kno) but listen to their riffs in their songs. they well technical. i have to go with hardcore its good to bounce along to and when the beatdowns start u jus cant help but nod ur head Oh and as for the dancing. tht jus adds to the entertainment
