Q: I just remodeled my bathroom and the contracted crew installed a receptacle about 2 inches above my sink is that against code? From what I understand a receptacle has to be at least 18" from any water source. Can I keep the receptacle there or do I have to move it? The receptacle is GFCI and Im talking about Virginia, United States.
It is STILL 120 Volts. The electric shaver receptacle is maybe 15 volts(I never checked) and that is more the typical or receptacle that would be put there.
Q: Bathroom washbasins the narrowest width
Glass stainless steel combination, the outer width of the minimum: 473.5mm.
Q: Do not want to buy ready-made bathroom cabinet, first because there is no fancy, and second, because the fancy eyes are American rural pastoral style, style does not take, too expensive, so I want to find the kind of man-made stone to do the corner Angle, lace and the like out of the basin, the bottom of the RBI cabinet. Little woman is not only, no time to go out wandering, you prawn who, how can do ah?
You will be very troublesome to die. Or buy a finished it
Q: We recently renovated our entire house and we replaced all the faucets in the entire house. The electric hot water heater was also relocated. But now the water doesn't get hot in either bathroom sink. The faucets were purchased from Home Depot I have enclosed the link below. I don't want to call the contractor back out because I don't feel like dealing with him. It took him 8 month to complete the renovation that was suppose to take 2 months... Please help !! http://www.homedepot /Bath-Bathroom-Faucets-8-Widespread-Sink-Faucets/h_d1/N-5yc1vZ1xg1ZaqnbZ1z139uiZ1z139etZ1z11e3f/R-202044181/h_d2/ProductDisplay?langId=-1&storeId=10051&catalogId=10053
Check the shut of (isolation valve under the sink and check around the tank to see if a valve inline exist. The chance of two newfaucets not working is a million to 1.
Q: Help what can I do I live in a apt complex did use any comicals so what is it
if your sink was properly plumbed this wouldn't happen. most likely you have no p trap underneath, the p trap creates a standing water barrier to keep sewage gas and other vapors from rising back out of the pipes and smell up your house/apartment. check under the sink, if you have a p trap then you have a slow hotwater leak , most likely at the faucet, that is constantly re filling the ptrap with hot water, hence the steam. if you do not have a p trap tell your landlord to install one.
Q: Kitchen sink or Bathroom Sink?
Bathroom.
Q: How to remove the column basin
Washbasin is generally fixed with the expansion bolts on the wall, you can use the wrench unscrew the back of the wash basin to remove the screws; the following pillars are only placed on the ground and a little fixed with white cement, remove the wash basin can be taken directly The hot and cold water pipe connected to the washbasin can be unscrewed with pliers.
Q: So we use chemicals and a plunger and the sink will improve a lot but a few hours to a day later it will be clogged up again, does anyone have any advice? Is there any kind of product tgat can cause this because as far as i know all we use is toothpaste and soap and shaving cream. Thanks
The vent stack may also be clogged
Q: Can the bathroom of the bathroom be able to wash clothes directly? Feeling pretty dirty, but modern bathroom decoration, especially small bathrooms are not considered to put the wash basin area ah?
You still buy a washing machine. Pots are still dirty. The
Q: It is a bathroom sink
All so far are valid answers. I replaced mine with standards from a Big Box Home Imp. store. The issue is to measure the cut out on the counter top, assure that the sink has a lip to cover, perhaps 1/2 inch all around to cover the cut, caulk before setting the new sink,,,After assurance that the plumbing lines up beneath, use the brackets from beneath, that pull the sink tight to the counter top, If they are offered, hook up the down drain pipe to the P Trap, and the intake lines to the faucet, and turn it on,,,slowly at first to determine proper connections. Trailers per say,,,as in tow arounds, often have specifically sized fixturing. Mobile Homes which are not strictly Mobile, can accept regular house fixturing. Most bath sinks are between 19 and 22 inches, oval, round, or otherwise, and all that's best required is pulling the old sink and measuring the opening before you shop. Steven Wolf
