- Q: Yesterday around 9pm I saw a crane fly flying around my living room so I got a pillow and threw it over it. Sadly it found a way to get out cause when I was going to the bathroom I saw it right by the tub and I ran out. Those things are always trying to fly to me. Anyways there attracted to light or whatever so I just turned off the light in the bathroom and living room, and shut the door! I heard my sister later in the night go in there but idk if she saw it or not. So should I just go to the bathroom or wait till my sis goes in there?!
- Crane flies are totally harmless. Don't worry about it.
- Q: The judge that sentenced people Death or Exile looked alot like Dr. Crane in the 1995 Batman film, which is why I ask.
- Yes it was the actor that plays Dr. Crane is Cillian Murphy they tried to bring back a lot of the characters from the first two movies in the Dark Knight Rises.
- Q: It is my contention that God could be held accountable, at least as an accessory, for any crime. God had knowledge of these events in advance and did nothing.
- Why oh why do you guys always blame God for man's actions? Oh, so dumb!! There is something called the conscience that God has placed in every human being. We should know right from wrong and often and most times people choose to do what is wrong. Your conscience is God's way of telling you which one to choose. That is where He speaks to us. You will be judged for your actions by your conscience and by the Almighty God.
- Q: Hi, I'd like to know what a crane symbolises in the asian(?) culture. any other meaningful symbols do list.
- The cranes' beauty and their spectacular mating dances have made them highly symbolic birds in many cultures with records dating back to ancient times. Crane mythology is widely spread and can be found in areas such as the Aegean, South Arabia, China, Korea, Japan and in the Native American cultures of North America. In northern Hokkaidō, the women of the Ainu people, whose culture is more Siberian than Japanese, performed a crane dance that was captured in 1908 in a photograph by Arnold Genthe. In Korea, a crane dance has been performed in the courtyard of the Tongdosa Temple since the Silla Dynasty (646 CE). In Mecca, in pre-Islamic South Arabia, the goddesses Allat, Uzza, and Manah, who were believed to be daughters of and intercessors with Allah, were called the three exalted cranes (gharaniq, an obscure word on which 'crane' is the usual gloss). See The Satanic Verses for the best-known story regarding these three goddesses. The Greek for crane is Γερανο? (Geranos), which gives us the Cranesbill, or hardy geranium. The crane was a bird of omen. In the tale of Ibycus and the cranes, a thief attacked Ibycus (a poet of the 6th century BCE) and left him for dead. Ibycus called to a flock of passing cranes, who followed the murderer to a theater and hovered over him until, stricken with guilt, he confessed to the crime. Pliny the Elder wrote that cranes would appoint one of their number to stand guard while they slept. The sentry would hold a stone in its claw, so that if it fell asleep it would drop the stone and waken.
- Q: sun/rising/etcBQ: how often are your winnings

- Q: Dear Friends, I wish to design a crane mounted industrial truck of overall weight 2 to 3 tons (including the load). I need a Diesel engine, wheel and brake system, drive system, steering system to desii#92;gn a truck. Please suggest me what all the available cheepest automobile spare parts will suitable for my design and whr can i get these parts easily
- You probably meant a truck-mounted crane. There are industries offering ready-made solutions that work. Have you ever designed a truck or a crane before? It's a challenging engineering task and it can't be improvised. Besides, whatever you design and build will have to undergo extensive testing before being authorized to operate on public roads. The solution would cost more than anyone would care to pay for it. Consider buying a used rig instead.
- Q: Today, a crane collapsed on the Grand Mosque in Mecca, killing 87 people. Is God punishing Muslims for 9/11?
- A god that did that would not be worthy of worship. You need to re-think your beliefs.
- Q: It affects my day to day life, especially in the summer, having to cope with crane flies, wasps and moths getting into my house, so I usually just pretty much keep myself in my room, door closed, windows closed to prevent any from getting into my room. If I happen to be near any of these insects I tend to have a panic attack and can't handle it. I have no reason for my fear, I am just afraid of them for no reason. If my room is too hot, I'll just sit in the dark with the window slightly open, in fear of them coming into my room. It's getting silly now and a lot of my friends will tease me about it. Really it's weird, I'm afraid of these insects, however I don't mind spiders (though I will not touch them), or any other insects for that matter. Can anyone help me to overcome my fears?

- Q: Emergency treatment of interrupted electricity during lifting of tower crane
- It is very dangerous to stop the electricity during the lifting of tower crane. Because the slewing brake is missing, the tower crane is very dangerous because the wind rotates.
- Q: In the Bride comes to Yellow Sky, Stephen Crane uses symbolism to evoke in readers a sense of the “old west”. However, the knowledge of the “old west” that the average person holds in his or her mind is false and nothing more than a Hollywood created myth. By using the symbols inherent in Hollywood’s old western myth Crane manipulates the reader’s misconceptions only to leave them feeling stupid when he reveals a hole in that way of thinking with the irrational ending. This is actually a thesis i'm working on for an analytical essay on the piece.I need to know if anyone has ever read the story and gotten the same feeling Crane was having fun at the reader's expense or perhaps poking fun at the old western I have very good points from the text to support my thesis but i cannot find anything online that touches on the possability of this being a parody. Anyone else think Crane's having fun or is a bit condescending in this piece?
- I have to say no. Your question erred in a significant way. Hollywood didn't create this false image of the West. The false image was created a long time before by people living in the age of the incidents. It didn't take publishers long to notice that people living back East enjoyed these gritty depictions of the West. Dime novels were a big seller in the 18th and 19th centuries. Look at Stephen Crane. He died in 1900. Hollywood was non-existent as the facet of American life that it holds now. Crane would have been writing this story with the idea that he was depicting a real slice of the wild West that was becoming more civilized.
