Q: will walmart transfer my tpm from my old tires to new tires and then install it on my car for me? and for how much?
The tire pressure monitor system runs off the tire valve not the tires.Replaceing the tires will sometimes cause the system to need reset by the dealer. The dealer will charge for this reset of this system.Best of luck.
Q: does it mean it doesnt hav a tube inside the tire??? why is it called so?pls tell me in detail... Thanks in Advance....
Tubeless tires are pneumatic tires that do not require a separate butyl rubber inner tube. Traditional designs of pneumatic tires required a separate inner tube which could fail for a number of reasons, such as: incorrect tire fitment, or friction between the tire wall and inner tube generating excess heat causing a blowout. Tubeless tire technology does away with the need for an inner tube thereby increasing safety. In a tubeless tire, the tire, which has an inner lining of impermeable halobutyl, and the rim of the wheel form an airtight seal, with the valve being directly mounted on the rim. If a tubeless tire gets punctured, air escapes only through the hole, leading to a gentle deflation of the tire. Conversely, an inner tube could potentially burst like a balloon, leading to a rapid deflation of the tire which could result in sudden loss of control of the vehicle. A liquid tire sealant can be added to tubeless tires to prevent deflation.
Q: Beverly should change the brand of car tires
Hello! Headquartered in Clermont-Ferrand, France, the Michelin Group was founded in 1889 and is a global leader in tire technology. The main business areas include tires, mobile assist systems and travel services. Michelin brand tires to maintain its excellent overall performance at the same time, some focus on comfort and quiet, and some focus on the movement and handling. You can choose for your hobby. When buying tires, you need to take full account of vehicle performance (eg super sports car, SUV, small and medium sized sedan), driving habits (eg, gentle or driving style) and hobbies (eg comfort, (Such as: high speed, gravel pavement, winding road, etc.) and climatic conditions (such as: winter snow and ice weather) and so on, and then according to Michelin tire product positioning to choose the right of your tires.
Q: How long is the shelf life of the car tire?
General tires from the date of production inventory shall not exceed 3 years, the use of the maximum length of not more than 8 years.
Q: 24 hour tire shop
Are you maybe thinking of the walmart on Charleston?
Q: Tire installation fees in Walmart?
It really depends on the car. I had a 91 Mazda I could put 4 tires on for under $200 in 2012, it had 14 inch rims. If you have a 13 inch rim, you can get pretty good tires for under $200. If you have a rim bigger than 15 inch you are looking at $350-400 for cheap tires. The trick is having a small car with small rims if you want cheap tires.
Q: the tires have about 25k on them
On an AWD vehicle mismatched tires can overheat the transfer case causing very expensive damage. If the existing tires are more than 20% worn then yes, absolutely replace all 4 at once. Most tire shops will insist on this anyway since they are not eager to pay for your new transfer case. On some models if there is less than 20% wear it is OK to replace a pair so long as the new tires are identical in terms of size, brand and model to the two tires being kept. Consult your dealer or the vehicle manufacturer to be sure. PS Yes, I have actually witnessed AWD systems being damaged by mismatched replacement tires. The last one (about a year ago, 1 tire put on by another shop, not mine) the car lasted about 30 minutes after the new tire was put on before the transfer case gave out. I believe the lawsuit is still pending.
Q: Car tires inside and outside wear is not the same thing
Before the beam, the tilt data is not right, need to do four rounds of the vehicle positioning.
Q: i got a flat tire and road-side assistance switched out the flat one with the spare. it was a real tire spare not the donut kind. so should i keep driving on that spare, and buy a new tire to put in the trunk as a spare.or should i replace the spare with a new tire and put the spare back? Thanks
The spare tire is only good to get you were you have to go for a tire change. That's what it's really for, so drive with the spare until you buy yourself a new or used tire. But, don't wait to long that spare will give up on you at any time. Note : Spare tires don't last very long, hitting a big pot hole can really be a scary situation. Hope I helped !!!! Joseph D :)
Q: what is the tyre pessures fo 195/45 r15 78v
The maximum tire pressure should be moulded into the sidewall on every tire. But, that is only the maximum pressure for that specific tire. You should always go by the vehicle manufacturer's tire inflation specifications for best fuel economy, and ride comfort. Most manufacturer's put a sticker in the door jamb, or glove box, sometimes it's even behind the fuel door. When in doubt, about 35 psi should get you down the road without abnormal tire wear, and decent fuel economy.
