- Q: Tower crane 10-5-20 is 6T, and 10-5-21 is 8T. What do you mean by tons?
- 6T/8T refers to the maximum lifting capacity of a tower crane. It doesn't matter what 10-5-20 has to do with it. Maybe your list of numbers is serial number.
- Q: How to explain and classify the types of tower cranes? What do QTZ80 and Q5510 mean?
- This is only the tower crane in different periods of different naming:QTZ---- is the general saying in 80s of last century, Q means steel material (usually Q235), T is tower crane (mostly tower top type), Z indicates heightening method is self lifting,PT------ is the naming method in recent years.

- I know of someone who did. They did it as a fundraiser for a village school. They folded the cranes while working on the project, though, so I guess the lesson there is that you can make your own luck. The cranes look beautiful, though!
- Q: What prior education and skills are needed to become a Crane operator ?
- A basic education is required, no need for major courses. Skills however is developed through training. One is communication skills using a radio. Because crane operators have a partner called rigger, who overlooks the movement of crane below while telling instruction to the crane operator. Another skill is synchronization. Crane operators should possessed good movement synchronization and operation of levers and buttons inside his cabin. Another is good eyesight. Lastly, safety skill. Operators should know the capacity or the equipment he is operating and the calibration of the machine he is using.

- Q: I remember it was either an anime/manga or a movie but a boy or girl makes a thousand paper cranes for someone who is dying (possible their mother). I'm pretty sure it's an anime. - Construction cranes are erected on site. They are usually assembled on the ground with small cranes, then lift themselves up. The erection sequence is carefully figured, so minimal other equipment is needed. For conventional cranes that are permanent and thus only assembled once, portable cranes are used to erect them. Still, generally pretty much on the ground. Some have counterbalances that are permanently fixed, others have a rail type mechanism that moves in and out.
