- Q: Since the Vacuum Cleaner was the staple household appliance for the 1950's housewife,and woman are still targeted as the wider market for vacuum sales e.g woman are used to advertise them. I am curious to know what this relationship says?It might seem to be a silly question, and perhaps my wording isnt correct, but it is something which interests me and I would appreciate honest answers.
- The fact that advertising is still targeted, in the main, towards women some may say points to the fact that inequality between the sexes exists as a generalisation despite attempts to change this and that females will forever be potrayed as humble homemakers. I however, think it is because women have higher standards.

I can see how they may be able to survive the process of being sucked up and that eggs can still hatch, but can they really find their way out of the bag and down my long henry hose and back out into the outside world?I'm hoovering nearly every day and it seems ridiculous and expensive to replace what is actually a pretty empty bag.I'm putting a sock over the hose and securing with one of the attachments to be on the safe side but what does everybody think?

Which are equivalent to Watts:Flow rate = m3.s-1Pressure = Pa = N/m2 = kg.m-1.s-2Product = kg.m2.s-3 = J.s-1 = W.So if you multiply the volume flow rate through a vacuum cleaner by the pressure change it creates, is that the rate at which work is being done to move air through the machine? Is this what quot;Airwattsmeans? And if you then divide this by the power being supplied to the motor, is this giving the efficiency of the machine?
- I believe it is similar to mechanical horsepower, which takes into account both speed and torque. In the case of airwatts, it would be the available power to do work, taking into account both the pressure and volume of the airflow, outside of the vacuum motor's fan.
- Q: there lot many usb vacuum cleaners are available in the market of different rates, but this kind of vacuum cleaner has enough suction power to suck the dust from the air vent(which is near to the fan) of the laptop? - You dont want a vacuum for that. You dont want to suck, you want to blow (kinky) a vacuums suction creates static pressure, which can cause static electricity, which can cause damage. So either buy a blower/air compressor, or buy some canned air. Canned air is cheap (like $4-6 at any walmart), and should last awhile, and works very well at getting dust off components. Just make sure you disconnect power/battery from laptop, and never tilt the can (as that causes it to freeze and can cause damage), instead of moving the can, try moving your laptop to the can while its upright.

- My concern between the two would be whether or not it has the various tools and attachments to do crevices, upholstery, etc. The Infinity states that it does; they Dyson does not state this, and it appears (if you look below it) that some of the tools have to be ordered seperately. The Dyson appears to have better reviews, but also costs a lot more. They both weigh about the same (a concern for lots of folks). Given that you have only about $300 to spend, unless you're willing to spend a good bit more for the vacuum and the accessories, I'd say the Infinity is the way to go.
- Q: I am in desperate need of a new vacuum cleaner - I have just bought a vax after the sales lady recommended but am taking it back due to its poor performance its so noisy my neighbours hear me hoovering at the end of the street ! far too heavy and hardly picks up a thing !! I have had a dyson before which was fab but really cannot stretch to a new one far too pricy - perhaps i am always going to compare performance to this anyone know anything as good but not as expensive all opinions greatly appreciated
