I have a Roomba Discovery 4220 (black) I like it very much. I have hardwood floors, as well as carpet. It does very well on both. It runs about 2 hours on a charge the AUTOMATICALLY returns itself to the charger to recharge. You can't get any more convenient than that. Just make sure everything (Clothes, Wires, etc) are off the floor, empty the cannister before each use, and let it go!

Q: This questions is about a nephew. He is 5. I have 3 children ages 5,3 and 18 mo and the two older ones have never seemed to know so much about 1 toipic and talk so much about it. They really delve in and become little experts on their topic. I've met dinosaur kids, farm equipment kids, Nascar driver kids, railroad kids... And they're all extremely knowledgable in their field. Vaccuum cleaners and stoves are not a big deal. Take him out when you want to buy a washing machine. :)
