- Yes, they run away and hide when I get it out. Kenai isn't really afraid he stays out but the other two scoot. I still make them let me vaccuum them somtimes, they like the feel of it but hate the sound of the vaccuum.. My dog Jasper is also afraid of thunder, fireworks, those blow up christmas things too lol, they also don't like cardboard tubes either.. I blow through them and my dog Kenai barks at me.. ha ha. Jasper was afraid of cords and he still is but he has gotten alot better, he will actually walk over them now. His fear of chairs has also diminished considerably..lol He's such a puss..

We've gotten rid of all our carpets - vinyl or laminate floors only, which has eliminated all the pet odors. But it is still hard to get rid of all the pet hair (etc) that builds up on all their favorite bedding or couches.I've got my eye on the 1400 Series canister vacuum ($899! What am I thinking??!?!) But if it does what it claims, I think this would be worth it.I appreciate any feedback based on your experience with Oreck products. Thanks!
- Not according to Consumer Reports! Oreck is one of their lower rated vacuums. Their best buy is Kenmore (Sears) Progressive with Direct Drive 35922 that sells for $300 and is rated excellent for removing pet hair. I don't usually buy service policies, but if you buy a vacuum from Sears I recommend it, because they not only repair free of charge during the covered period -- they inspect/service your vacuum annually and even replace the HEPA filter for free when it's needed.
- Q: I've gone through three vacuum cleaners in a two years and have spent thousands. Additionally, one vacuum cleaner was so heavy, it caused me back pain.
- I have a Bissell liftoff and it works really well. We have three cats and a dog and it picks up all that hair. You can detach the canister and carry it around with just the hoses which is really helpful to clean in small spaces. I absolutely love this vacuum.

- How could you not like sharks......They are the perfect predator.......Rows and rows of razor sharp teeth that continuously replenish themselves. What does that tell you? However, they scare the crap out of me.........Only because of their awesome advantage when in the ocean. However, sharks are not invincable, dolphins, and Orcas have been known to kill sharks. Other sharks also kill sharks.........that is wierd!!!!!! But, when you think about the shark they are an incredable creature......First they have no bones......their skeleton is made up of nothing more than cartilage, no air bladder as in fish.......they have to constantly keep swimming in order to not sink.........Think of you trying to stay in 10 feet of water for 2 days..........They also need to keep moving in order to breath..........Look at a sharks mouth........Nothing more to say there............ Most attacks on humans by sharks are on surfers........I have seen vids from under the water of a surfer........Looks very much like a seal, a natural prey for the shark....... There are unprovoked attacks on humans by sharks, but for crying out loud, we are in there domain where they rule........... Sharks are awsome, but also very scarry at the same time. There are only two creatures on this planet that really freak me out, the first is the croc, and the second, is none other than the shark!!!!!!! Now you my answer!!!!!!!!
