Q: on my keyboard and it stretched out my screen.like if you were watching a video on your computer and you wanted it bigger.well i don't know what button i pressed and it's kind of aggravating.like it made the internet page take up the WHOLE screen and where you put the URL isn't there anymore..what button should i press.i have a dell if that matters.
F11 i am sure
Q: This one has me baffled. Isn't the press supposed to sell hot stories to make money?
The press is always responsible for what it prints no matter the source. To here the press tell it they are the guardians of truth and liberty not the hounds of profit and gossip. I'm not a journalist but I would certainly weigh anything I would print against the harm it might do. Maybe journalist aren't as idealistic as they once where. If a journalist leaked a defense related story that was perceived to damage the US during WWII he/she would have been shot.
Q: I really really want to increase my bench press. During school last year I did 135 lbs. I wanted to do better this year and do better next so I went to the gym and started lifting weights. I barely did bench press because I did not have a spotter. So instead I used dumbbells like depending on the day and workouts I do it rangers from 25-35 lbs. And I also chest press 110 lbs 10x and I do 3 sets. Today. I did 200 reps in curling ( did pyramids 2x starting at 50 lbs ) and incomplete it 2 with 5 reps per weight So when I tried to bench I couldn't bench at all. Is it cuz of this?? I did a bunch of triceps and chest exercises before this.
Do the bench press first then the supporting exercises for the bench press.
Q: what does the Constitution say about freedom of press?
Assuming you mean the constitution of the u.s., the first amendment provides: Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
Q: Ok, so I really need to know, fast about Pressed Flower Art. Especially from that kit where you get the colorful envelopes, trinket boxes, cards, glue, paintbrush, et cetera.
picking depends on weather, morning with no dew is best i think. have supplies ready for pressing before you pick, so they don't wilt. you need: a thick book, napkins or paper towels, a flat surface and a brick or something heavy. next, lay flowers out on paper inside a page thinly and not piled on top of each other, go like ten pages and repeat, making sure paper covers both sides of flowers. they will dry in a sunny spot in about 2 weeks this way. if needed sooner, put between paper towels and waxed paper on outside, use low iron, no steam, then press in book for few days. use modge-podge glue/sealer to cover card-stock paper, press flowers down into glue, then let dry. you may need to weigh the corners down. repeat after dry to seal. your card should be beautiful. no need for a kit! you can sprinkle some glitter dust on top before 1st layer dries, or glimmer mist after dried. i have never tried to write on leaf but they get very brittle after dried, so try before? have fun!
Q: Okay I need to know what the job in-tales for being a press setter in a car factory can any one help ???? what do they have to do ??? is it hard or easy ?
a press is a big machine that presses out components like panels for a car door etc, the setter is a person that sets the machine up for doing this, like getting the measurements right and the press parts all in the right place ready for manufacture
Q: when i work out i always start out by benching. recently, instead of taking a break between my bench press sets, i have been doing sets of 10 - 20 pushups, then taking a short rest, and then doing another set on the bench. i usually do about 3 - 4 sets of eachdoes anyone know if that is a good way to do it
you need to rest for get some ATP back, so take a 20-30 sec rest in between bench pressing sets bench pressing = more strenuous than pushups, and they target the same muscles so you're actually doing less weight when you do the pushups. in other words, if you weigh 150, and you're bench pressing 200 x15, then u do a set of pushups, say 25...the pushups will act as a lesser weight...so do them later in your workout, by the time you're done you should barely be able to do 4 sets of pushups.
Q: 1) can u list everyone an everything besides newspapers that are guaranteed freedom o the press?2) how can the average citizen ensure his or her freedom o the press?3) what responsibility does an editor of a newspaper have?4) who if anyone should censor what you read?
1. Freedom of the press and freedom of speech are pretty closely tied together. Press has been defined by the Supreme Court as any publication that affords a vehicle for information and opinion. Magazines, books, pamphlets, web sites, blogs, TV, anything that is intended to be read or viewed by others. If it doesn't fall under that definition, then it likely falls under free speech. So signs, letters, art work, speeches, things not designed to be viewed as information or opinion. The guarantee is that the GOVERNMENT can't try to control the press. Plenty of other organizations can. Schools, TV networks, libraries, corporations do it all the time. But that's allowed. 2. Make sure that it isn't abused, thus tempting restrictions. 3. An editor has a responsibility to make sure that a story is true in its details, not libelous, doesn't incite riots, isn't on a malicious vendetta against people, and doesn't deliberately expose the subject to danger. 4. Me. I should be the only censor of what I read or watch. But then I'm an adult with a pretty good sense of skepticism.
Q: I have to write and essay with multiple quotes from legitimate book sources on the effect of the Printing Press on the Enlightenment. I am saying that without the press, the Enlightenment would not have happened. Though I can use only one credible internet source, I can cite other web pages as long as the content of my quote can be found in a book somewhere. A little help finding these sources? I've used Francis Bacon's Novum Organum, but other than that, I'm totally lost. And any points I could write on would be great!
The printing press helped with the development of the English language. With the press, more texts were available to the public. With more texts available, literacy increased among the masses. Once literacy takes a foothold, you see advances across the board. I would do a search using key phrases with The History of the English Language. Once you have some titles to work with, you should check out the Project Gutenberg website; it has older texts available on-line for free. Once there, you can obtain quotes and information to cite. I hope this was a little helpful.
Q: Yesterday I got a travel mug from Starbucks that's a french press. Its my first time ever even seeing a french press so I'm a little confused I guess. I made a cup today and it turned out just OK, But I like cream and sugar in my coffee and I'm not sure the best way to make this yet. can anyone give me any tips...
So far I use it like an actual press and not a mug. Thus, I make the coffee and pour it on another cup when it's done. So far so good. Some people have complained about a plastic taste to their coffee if you leave the coffee in there too long (since the press has plastic parts). I've had no problems so far.
