Q: Hi I need a drill press that can handle like three inches of steel or at least one. I have no experience using a drill press. So If you can teach me how to use one that would be great. Also can you direct me to a link to where I can a drill press online and where to buy the bits for steel.
I own a drill press, a corded 3/8 drill and a cordless 3/8 drill. I use the cordless 25 times for every time I use the other two (I also use it for driving screws).
Q: WHEN I PUT THE COOKIES ON THE PAN AND THE COOKIE DOUGH COMES OUT ITS HARD TO DETACH THE COOKIE DOUGH FROM THE COOKIE PRESS. AND ALSO WHEN THE COOKIES WERE COOKED THE SHAPE DISAPPEARED HOW CAN I SOLVE THIS? ILL REWARD THE BEST ANSWER 10 POINTS! THANKS :)
The okorder Shortbread Cookies 2 Ingredients 2 cups butter, softened 1 cup white sugar 2 teaspoons vanilla extract 4 cups all-purpose flour Directions 1.Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C). 2.Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Stir in vanilla; add flour and mix well. 3.Put through cookie press and form cookies onto baking sheets. Bake for 10 - 12 minutes. The fact that your cookies lose shape while baking could mean that too much dough came out of the cookie press or the amount of butter or margarine in the recipe was too much in relation to the amount of flour. Keep trying and when you find the perfect recipe combination, make that dough all the time.
Q: I'm talking calf pressing with a leg press machine. I'm a 19 year old female athlete and each time I go to the gym I add more and more weight on and can still do it relatively easily. Right now I'm at around 650 lbs. I do around a 100 reps of it before my feet cramp and I stop. The only thing that is getting more difficult is lifting it off the safety catch. The actual calf pressing is easy. I just want to know if I will eventually be able to max out, or if I will even be able to try before my quads are just not able to lift the weight up.
If you want to work your calves to failure, it's not hard to do. Use a calf machine. As for the leg press, there's no way we can know because we don't know how strong your legs are. However, you can always work to failure simply because there is always an upper limit to how many calf presses you can do. Try doing 1000 and if that's not enough do 10,000 reps...etc. So the rather obvious answer to your question is yes. Good luck and good health!! ?
Q: I want to get my mom a panini press for her birthday and I can't decide which kind to buy?I want something that will last a long time and not super ginormous.help!
there is a wolfgang puck panini press and u can change the plates to have a waffle iron too. i think you can get it on hsn
Q: my girlfriends ex-boyfriend rammed in to the side of my car with his car while me and my gf were in it, we called the cops and they came and took a report and later arrested him, now my gf and his mom are asking me not to press charges and that his mom wants to get him help (its a mess cause they have a kid together) what should I do? even if i don't press charges wont he still be tried and given a sentence? since he used his car as a weapon. how long will he get?
he has a right to confront any witnesses formed against him..that being said if you don't show up to say yes he did this or anyone else..his charges will more than likely be dismissed..it would be up to the state to prove beyond a reasonable he is guilty..meaning the prosecutor would need you to corroborate the events that took place..the prosecutor will try to threaten you with contempt if you don't appear..a scare tactic..you are a victim and its illegal to victimize a victim more than has already occurred..however you can speak to his lawyer not him directly..and let his lawyer know he needs some type of counseling and you would feel better knowing the court is monitoring..so if he is charged with a felony you would like that dropped to a misdemeanor and some counseling..to ensure his behavior changes...
Q: What is the weight you hold while bench-pressing called?
You can bench-press against a 'bar-bell' or a pair of 'dumb-bells'. The name comes from the practice of swinging heavy bronze hand-bells, with their clappers wrapped in cloth to make them silent, as a substitute for the 'indian clubs' that were previously used for upper-body training. The dumbell we recognise nowadays started out as a bell-handle, with a heavy metal ball on the end instead of its bell. Soon, 'compensated' versions with a ball on each end started to be manufactured, as well as other variations such as the t-handled 'spade-bell' (now revived as the loop-handled 'kettle-bell') and a version for two-handed use with a long bar instead of a handle, called a bar-bell.
Q: When doing the bench press, where should I bring the bar?Is it in the middle of the chest like on the nipples 'line'?How do I build my 'upper' chest. I think it's called the pectoralis minor, just below the collar bone.
attempt doing dumbell presses as a replace of bar and flex your chest once you get to the splendid. you would be impressive at how briskly you may get reliable that way. hit upon a weight it quite is kinda heavy to you. Do 12 reps, then pass up 5 kilos and do 10 reps, then 5 mor kilos and do 8 reps. finally pass back to the 1st weight and do 12 back. each and every 2 week attempt to initiate at a miles better weight.
Q: Everytime I bench press I get shoulder pain in either one of my shoulders. Im 18 and trying to get jacked. I dont want to see go see a doctor I just want to know how to get my chest swole without hurting my shoulders. what exercises
How are you gripping and where on the bar are you gripping. When you come down with the bar, it should be on your nipple line and press up and slightly back, almost like an arch. You WILL almost always feel your shoulders being worked on BP, but the pain should not set it. I would lower the weight and work my way back up by getting more strength. Simply pyramid. For example 135lbs x 12 reps 145lbs x 10 reps 155lbs x 8 reps 165x 6 reps 145 x Failure This exact routine will help build strength and size and will give you a nice pump to engorge those muscles with blood and nutrients, meaning if you eat a meal or take a protein shake right after, it will easily be delivered into the muscle fibers. This is just an example, do it to YOUR OWN strength levels. Don't try and be braveheart on the first set because the rest of your regiment will fail. Good luck.
Q: Jw what would be considered a good amount of weight for the classic chest press machine. Thank you.
You shouldn't be using machines you should be using free weights machines train your muscles for situations that dont exist in real life. You should be using a weight that you can actually finish your sets with.
Q: they were over the yellow parking line, and i made sure my passenger didnt hit their car, yet there are now two dents where their door would have hit. can i press legal charges?
No, because you have no idea who did it. Even if there are camera's in the parking lot, the police are not going to be bothered with a couple of door dings. My question is why did you park in a parking space where the other person had parked over the line. I realize you didn't want to walk any further than you had to, but now you have two door dings.
