Q: i have recently had a scaffold piercing slightly at a different angle to what you normally see thembut i have just noticed the bar cutting into the lobe itself and skin growing around it slightly should i take it out and put in studs until it finishes healing so I don't get the permanent cut in the lobe or have the skin grow around itcan any one help?: Sounds like your piercer did it too shallow or at an improper angle. Find a better piercer and have them look it out and change the jewelry if they need to. Since it's unhealed you don't want to mess with it yourself.

Q: What is a scaffold builder? What do they do?: Well, I know that a scaffold is a platform that gets raised and lowered with ropes. Workers use it to get up high to clean windows or paint or something else. There are bars on the sides so they have a place to hold onto.

Q: Well, so I REALLY want to get a scaffold. i was wondering how bad this hurt. My mom said when you get your ear pierced up there, it like rots or something. I dont know. So my question is;1.How bad did this hurt?2.How do they do it?3.Whats the smallest gauge you can go for this piercing?: Yes it hurts badly, they just stick a needle through the cartilage, there are different ways they can do it they way they did it for me was the guy stuck the needle through one side then had another needle and stuck it through the other spot. The smallest gauge is 14 i believe thats what i have. It takes about a year to heal, they are prone to develop keloids for you have darker skin, i did develop keloids they hurt.

Q: Is 40mm 14 gauge an average size?: Well, industrial bars only come in 16 and 14 gauge, so yes. Most piercers use 14 gauge needles and jewelry anyway.

Q: Front facia board needs a light scrape and seal and paint but there are 2 areas that peak at 18 ft high. laying on the roof and looking over is not an option as the roof is concrete tile and unable to find any matching tiles if they break. Need to be 13 - 14 ft in the up for a length of 16 ft or approx 4 hours total. any ideas to avoid rental costs, deposits etc...?: 2 sixteen foot ladders with a 2x12 placed where you need it,if safety is not an issue
