- I haven't had this piercing but i was thinking of getting one i do have an eyebrow ring and seven earrings in each ear and i use to have a tongue ring, your piercing cartilidge so it is going to sting shouldnt be too bad though for me my most painful piercing was my fourth earring hurt after that it wasnt too bad my seventh was a breeze i knew how to take care of it so that it would heal fast and not get infected. you have to daily sometimes twice a day clean it otherwise it gets infected and its been my exerpience that they get infected easy. the healing time for when you pierce cartilidge is twice that of when you pierce your lobe so about 8-12 weeks give or take as far as i know you have to be 18 to get one if your in the US (or 17 with parental consent) not sure what the age would be over in London as for reputable place most tatto parlors do piercings look for a clean place that sterlizes everything very important (again going on US standards) as for the cost not sure was 10 dollars for ear piercing at wal mart but for this kind of ear piercing i would guess 20-30 dollars cause its at leadt 50 for a eyebrow or tongue ring i know that. i hope this helps good luck
- Q: I know it's soon, but my piercings swollen and quite sore when knocked slightly.I've only had it three or four days, but there's a swollen round lump right next to one pierced hole and I was worried it could be an early sign of a keloid. But I don't know if it's too soon to tell yet.I know they can take up to 6 months to heal, if not more, but I'm kinda paranoid about it.I've rinsed it after showering, used salt water on it every day and apart from that just washed it with water on a cotton bud.Any advice?

- Q: I've wanted an industrial/scaffold piercing for ages! My mum is finally looking into letting me have it done. Any advice about it? How can I hide it for school? What's the healing time? :) thank you for any feed back.
- Most piercings need 6 months to fully heal. Industrial will take up to a year to do so. You have to keep the jewelry in and do not take it out ( not even once ) for the whole period of 1 year. This means that you can't hide it for school. You can't put a retainer on also, cause only titanium or stainless steel material are proper for an open wound aka a new piercing. This piercing is not easy to heal and can stay irritated for long. It goes through cartilage and you have to be really careful with the aftercare and the piercer's info if you want to keep the piercing and yourself healthy. You have to be careful and not touch it or play with it and twist it or take it out. You clean this piercing with sea salt soaks or non alcohol antibacterial soap 2-3 times a day. You dry it with paper towels. If you can do the above daily and be extra careful go get it done. Gluck

- Q: He pushes a can over the scaffold at 15 meters and it takes 3.25 seconds for it to land.I keep doing the problem over and over. the Correct answer is 20.5 m/s, however I keep arriving to the solution of 17 m/s. I solved it by doing Vf^2 = Vi^2 + 2adwhere the initial velocity is zero and the acceleration is -g. I made my coordinate system so that down is negative in which the distance will be negative. - The initial velocity is not zero since the scaffold is moving upward when the can gets pushed over. And final velocity, vf, does not represent the speed of the scaffold (if that is what you're trying to solve). y = (vo)(t) - (1/2)gt? 15 m = (vo)(3.25 s) - (1/2)(9.81 m/s?)(3.25 s)? vo = +20.5 m/s

- Dimmesdale does not confess to his crimes on the scaffold at night, but he does meet with Hester and little Pearl on the scaffold while Chillingsworth watches. - Q: i got my scaffold done quite a while ago and it still really hurts and is all lush and crusty,loli know it takes agessss to heal but could i take it out and put normall small earrings in each whole instead? Which would i have to use? thanks
- in my opinion you should ride it out and just clean it more often. not only will the piercings give you trouble if you try to change the earring now, the piercings themselves will move slightly and you won't be able to put an industrial bar back through it. if you can live with these go through with it, if not, wash often, rotate the bar constantly and avoid sleeping on it and getting your hair caught up in it. like you said, piercings in the cartilage are very sensitive and need time and nurturing so that they can heal properly.
