- When you only run the vacuum for 30 mins a week it doesn't make too much of a difference if you want cleaner air you must purchase an air purifier. IQair is said to be a very good brand though spendy.

- well honestly you don't have enough money for all that although it is a good budget. never invest in a dyson it's a rip off I would buy a vacuum..up right/bagless Bissell...check walmart...under 100 bucks will get a nice one shark brand makes the best steam mop and hand held small rechargeable vacuum. I would not waste money on a hand held steamer I would rent a carpet shampooer from lowes or home depot to clean the pee and I would do that first target also has these items but you can oreder on line and pick up at walmart customer service for a fraction of the cost. *(*
- Q: this house s covered in dirt. im 20 with a 2yr old daughter and almost 16 weks preg with our 2nd. my husband is 22, we live with his dad and sister because mu husbands job keeps cutting hours and hes not making enough to get our own place, and i know some people will be like well if you dont have money to get your own place why have another kid...well i was on birth control both times ok!!! and i dont do abortion, and if i have a child i am going to keep it and take responsiblity and not jut give it away ok!...anyway back to the question...so i want to clean this house, it makes me so mad with how gross it is...everything gets dusty super fast and the carpets always have dirt in them. Our vacuum broke, so is there a way for me to clean all this without a vacuum???
- Wow, defensive much? We really didn't need to know your living situation in order to help you clean. What about one of those little carpet sweeper things? It would be a lot of work to get all the dirt out, but it would be better than nothing, and far less expensive than a vacuum. Take rugs outside and beat them. And for hard surfaces, a broom and/or a dust mop. The easiest way to dust is to put a sock on your hand and wipe everything down, with Pledge or another dust spray if you have it, dry if you don't.
- Q: It's gross, but there is a ton of human hair and a bit of pet hair on our floors.We've used several different vacuums, but the hair wraps around the roller and it doesn't pick up anything.Can you recommend a vacuum that will not get tangled?

- Q: We were looking to get a few rooms professionally cleaned in our home. However, what is the biggest diff btw. Chem-dry places and regular companies, like COIT or Stanley Steemer. We know the thing about no liquid/water, but does that make a diffference? Anything else? Because the cost between the 2 is quite a bit, so we were wondering if it makes up for it. Thanks!

- i own a pool company and your better automatic pool vaccums would be either a polaris or a creepy crawly but you can get them cheaper online then in a pool store. look under pool companies

- Q: I've owned a number of upright bagless vacuum cleaners, and they have all sucked (well, they've actually all stopped sucking to be precise). The Dyson claims to never lose its power, but its also 5x more expensive than the average upright. Is it worth it?
- We used to own an Oreck and it was good, but the bags were expensive and it is really, really dirty to change them. When the Oreck finally went kaput we went to the local Oreck store and saw our model is now $899, yes that's right. Oh yeah, you get a bunch of free crap you don't want or need and you a get a 30 day trial but no way is it worth it. Bought the Hoover that was in Consumer Reports, it did OK but it was really noisy, so bad it hurt my ears. It did a fair job cleaning but spewed dust after about 6 months and was always a hassle to clean. So I went to Bed Bath and Beyond and they recommended the Dyson. This is the best vacuum in the history of the world. It cleans incredibly well, it is quiet and it doesn't spew dust when I clean out the canister. I will never buy any other vacuum, but based on my two years of heavy duty use (I even use it as my shop vac) it doesn't look like I'll ever need another one anyways. I had one piece break and when I called Dyson they sent me a free replacement with free shipping even thought the warranty was expired.
