- Q: anyone know of a cheap site to find 205/70/15 all-season tires, preferably somewhat high performance
- usually high performance and cheap dont go together but i found that the lo pro toyo's that i slapped on my supra were decently priced and they have a wide variety for what ur lookin for

- Q: I bought some winter tires from someone on rims and feel i paid a good price. But i can not find any information on these tires. Can anyone tell me about the brand TRAIL MARK?They say M+S (i think meaning mud and snow - which is why i was searching) and a lack of results on anything called trail mark prompted me to come here for answers. Does anyone know about TRAIL MARK, does the M+S Mean snow tire? They are p235 75 16I took some pics of them and some details on the side-wall. So let me know if im missing any info. Any help on this would be appreciated, such as quality, or price, or details or where i can find details on them. Thanks.
- M+S means that the tire can be used on mud and snow. It does not mean snow tire. Snow tire means a tire meant to be used only in the winter and primarily in snow. They are better in snow than other M+S tires. Snow tires are not used in the summer because they wear out quickly in hot weather. Some M+S are snow tires. Most M+S tires are ordinary all season tires that can be used in the summer, but are not as good in snow as snow tires are.
- Q: I just got back from wal-mart and the cheapest price for the tire i needed was $100.00 a tire. While in there waiting and talking to some people, other‘s were paying 300.00 for just 2 tires. Is the price of tires going up because of this oil spill?
- tires have been high for along time, its the process to make them and the rubber and there are steel belts in them steel prices are high ETC. its not just one thing and plus you have to have them, i pay right around 225 a tire for my truck, granted they are over sized aggressive tires, but i would suggest not going to wal-mart and going to a tire shop even though wal-mart can buy in bulk and get a discount a shop that specializes in tires can get a better deal
- Q: What is the usual melting point of rubber tires?
- This Site Might Help You. RE: Melting Point of Rubber Tires? What is the usual melting point of rubber tires?
- Q: what is the deal with rain tires? why arent they using them in japan? are they only for road courses?
- the thing is they delayed the japan race because or weepers (places where water is seeping through the road) in one turn. They can't use they during the race because not the whole road is wet and full of puddles. There is different friction in that corner which can be very dangerous. Rain tires get hot very quick and they shouldn't be used when its not raining. It can cause over heating which is also dangerous. I am not sure if they are only for street courses.
- Q: If your car has TPMS do you have to pay more for new tires? Why and what would the cost difference generally be?
- I'm guessing an F150, being not a top of the line vehicle, would probably not have a tire pressure monitor. I could be wrong. Why don't you just go to an auto parts store or gas station and buy a gauge for a couple bucks? The max pressure will be labeled on the side of the tire. It will take all of a few minutes to check all four tires.
- Q: I looked on tire rack and the cheapest all-season tires (new england) I could find would cost me 1000 bucks.
- Last I looked (a few months ago) Michelin made the only tire available for these vehicles. I don't think much has changed since then. Welcome to the world of the modern automobile where every car comes with its own unique, expensive, hard to find tire size and take solice in the fact you are not by any means alone in this horrible realization. - Q: this weekend on the highway my back passenger tire shredded and I was curious what the chances are my other tires will also?
- It will happen all the time if you don't put air in your tires. A partially flat tire builds up tremendous heat and the heat helps destroy the tire. You MUST check your tire air pressure every month and before going on a longer trip. You should walk around the vehicle ocassionally to check for a low tire. The same is true of the fluids in your car. Don't forget the spare tire. When you have a flat tire on the road, what does the road service guy need? A good tire fully inflated for your car and the tools to remove and remount it.
- Q: What should the tire pressure be for a 1991 Ford Escort LX? I cannot find it on the sticker on the door.
- 1999 Chevy S-10 truck? Would transmission fluid add to the truck's performance of not shifting properly?
