- Q: i want to build a night club but want to keep the building costs low what material could i place inbetween the plaster board and the brick walls? hmmmm had a thought you guys tell me if you think this will work ... say i had plasterboard then a 1-2 inch gap of air then corrugated pvc sheet type roofing so they reflect the sound waves away from the wall and then normal loft type insulation on the back of that im also going to angle the walls downwars slightly should also make the room look cooler if done right any other ideas would be grately appreciated :)
- You could put thicker insulation and then use the thickest drywall they have . best of luck :)
- Q: hi, i took the tiles off but underneath were more tiles and in some areas plaster over more tiles and some plasterboard , ha its a right mess, whoever did it was dodgy, do i have to taake all this off right back to the brick and get someone to plaster it fresh or can i just hide all this with plasterboard and put new tiles on this? please help

- It's common practice to do the ceilings first. It's nice to have the sheetrock on the walls to hold up the ceiling but not absolutely necessary. Just be sure to put in enough screws and when screwing, try not to drive the screws too far so the paper tears. If the screws tear the paper, they're more inclined to show up in a few years.
- Q: I have some old style plasterboard in my house and I was wondering if there is any good way to smooth it out so it matches my new drywall? I'd rather not have to take it down but if it comes to that i'll do it. I am going to be texturing the new drywall. Could I just spray the texture on the old stuff and maybe hide it enough to get by?thxJoe
