Q: My Kirby has a buffer attachment, can I use it on my laminate floor to re move scuff marks?: Are the scuff marks from shoes ? if they are you could rub these off with your foot just wear a proper pair of shoes and press your foot on the scuff then drag your foot backwards across the scuff if it is rubber this will then roll into little balls of rubber and you can just pick it up, if you really want to buff the floor then lightly buff it going left to right in a sweeping motion, don't overdo the action as you could get a ( what they call a sea side effect ) it makes wavy lines across the floor and when people walk over it it makes them feel seasick. so just make sure you do straight lines.

Q: I just purchased some floor tiles that are suppose to be easy to install. All the direction say you have to do is just attach them to your floor (it sticks on one side) but they won't stick to my floor! (on my bathroom floor, they already have tiny cement tiles on them, nonremovable) i really dont want to take them back, but i need some advice on what i can use to make them work on my bathroom floor, because i hate the tiling thats already there, could someone please help. Level it with Fix-All; What I'd do, and I haven't done it with tile like yours, is add Elmer's waterproof wood glue to the water you use to mix into the Fix-All. It serves as a bonding agent, making the plaster at once denser and more flexible, helping it to keep from chipping-up. Maybe paint a little of the glue onto the tiles just before you mix-up the plaster (Fix-All) and try to get the plaster down before the glue on the tiles sets up. This will increase adhesion of the plaster to the tile. After this dries well, sand it off a bit, using a full sheet (more or less) of sandpaper on a flat 2x4 about ten inches or so long. Any deformities may be translated to the surface after you're done, so it should be made smooth as possible. Then go over it with a wet sponge a couple of times to remove the dust and let it dry again. Then tile. Good luck!

Q: What can be used to mop wax floors in-between waxes? My employees and I are having a hard time finding a cleaner that won't ruin the surface. For now, we are using just hot water and a mop but the water always leaves marks and doesn't seem to really do any. It just seems to make it dirtier. Any suggestions?: Wax floors? It would help to be more specific, but generally the marks may be coming from the mop being too wet. Hot water alone will not break down dirt. Nor will clorox. Add a small amount of mild liquid detergent, or an all purpose cleaner. I like liquid **** and Span (from the dollar store) as it doesn't leave a residue. I have used a Libman Wonder Mop for years. It doesn't leave streaks like cotton mops. Just make sure your mop is wrung out well on your last pass. Good luck! ps...I avoid the Mop and Glo type products as they tend to build up, along with the dirt that gets trapped:(

Q: My old flooring has quarter round trim at baseboards. I want to install laminate flooring over old, do I HAVE to take up the quarter round? Is there some other trim that can go on the new flooring edges that butts up to the existing quarter round?: No. Rip up the old quarter round. If you cannot get it up without damaging it, then just replace it. The laminate flooring should extend to about 1/4 of the wall, and that gap is covered by the quarter round. You do not want multiple runs of quarter round going around the room that would be just plain silly.

Q: I've been looking at websites about laminate flooring and they say u need all sorts of tools. Im just wondering what tools are actually needed for the click laminate?: My husband and I actually installed a click laminate floor in our living room after Hurricane Katrina soaked our carpet. It was so easy you wouldn't believe it. It was installed in no time and neither of us had ever put down any kind of floor. All you need is plastic sheeting (vapor barrier) on top of the slab, foam padding (our laminate had foam padding already attached - best kind!), a tape measure and and something to cut the end pieces to size. No tools. Just click together. Two years later and it still looks beautiful and we are we just purchased more to install in our hallway. Good Luck!

Q: I am remodeling my kitchen and it has an industrial tile on the floor now (similiar to school flooring). I would like to put ceramic tile in its place. is it okay to lay the ceramic right over top if the floor is in good condition? or do i have to remove the laminate before placing the ceramic?: NO!!!! you gotta take up he laminate AND you gotta prep the floor before you lay the ceramic. I JUST did this in my bathroom.

Q: Company office to decorate, want to use a good point of the floor.: Office is best to strengthen the composite floor, because a lot of staff, strengthen the surface wear resistance is good, usually very clean! Is there any heating in your office? If not, then you can install Shang Lange warm core floor, heating decoration into one!

Q: I'm kinda worried about buying floor tickets but dont really know why? Can any1 explain?: If you're not close enough to the stage, it's hard to see.
