Aluminum or PVC (UPVC) window is being made from Aluminum or UPVC profile, window accessories and glass.

To produce an Aluminum or PVC window you have to do the following steps:

Cut the profiles (Aluminum or uPVC Profile, reinforcement and Glazing bead)
Put reinforcement profile inside the uPVC profiles
Screw reinforcement profile into PVC profile
End mill the mullions
Open holes for door handles, sash fastener channels and espagnolette
Weld uPVC profile or Crimping Aluminum profile
Clean the welded corners of uPVC windows

Q:what is the difference between acrylic and plastic window vent visors ?: Plastic is a generic term that can apply to many different materials. Acrylic is a specific type of plastic. That said, there are many types of acrylics as well. A common acrylic used in automotive applications would be polymethyl methacrylate, also know under the trade name Plexiglas. Polycarbonates are also commonly used and are sometimes referred to as acrylics but technically they are not acrylics at all. In this application I'd probably prefer a polycarbonate as it would be more durable and less likely to craze with repeated washing. Something sold as acrylic would come second and anything generically referred to as plastic a distant third place.

You can, however, put it on the molding also. As long as you get a nice tight seat to prevent cold air from leaking into house, you're good.

It's also thinner and offers less sound insulation. This is why very few road-legal cars have plastic windows, save for stripped out exotic cars like the Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera, Ferrari F430 Scuderia, Aston Martin V8 Vantage N24, and I believe the Porsche 911 GT3 RS has some plastic windows.

Q:Every fall we put plastic on the outside of our windows to provide added insulation during the winter. The plastice we use is said to be clear but isnt. It always ends up that we cant see out the windows all winter. It really sucks. Does anyone know of an insulating plastic that is trully clear and will allow us to actually see out the windows?: 3M has the real clear kind that you use on the inside of the house. As long as your storm windows are on you only need the inside insulation.

It worked the first time but is now turning the window yellow.
