Aluminum or PVC (UPVC) window is being made from Aluminum or UPVC profile, window accessories and glass.
To produce an Aluminum or PVC window you have to do the following steps:
Cut the profiles (Aluminum or uPVC Profile, reinforcement and Glazing bead)
Put reinforcement profile inside the uPVC profiles
Screw reinforcement profile into PVC profile
End mill the mullions
Open holes for door handles, sash fastener channels and espagnolette
Weld uPVC profile or Crimping Aluminum profile
Clean the welded corners of uPVC windows

- Q: Every fall we put plastic on the outside of our windows to provide added insulation during the winter. The plastice we use is said to be clear but isnt. It always ends up that we cant see out the windows all winter. It really sucks. Does anyone know of an insulating plastic that is trully clear and will allow us to actually see out the windows?

- Q: I am moving with my family into a house that has large plastic skylights. The trouble is that the former tenant told me that a they are very thermally conductive and contribute to astronomical heating and cooling bills. - You can use indoor plastic kits. They contain sheets of plastic film, which looks like cling-film, but is slightly thicker. The kit also comes with double-sided tape, and you use this to tape the wooden framing (around the window pane). You then cut out the plastic to fit the size of your window frame and fix it to the tape. Finally, you blow a hair dryer on the plastic, which shrinks it so that it is very tight.
- Q: I just bought a quot;shrink window plastic insulation kitquot; from Home Depot to prevent cold air from entering through the windows. The plastic comes wrapped and it's taking forever to unwrap the plastic pieces that are stuck together. Please help!!!!

- If you can afford it get a set of full doors and you'll have the best of both worlds. In the winter I have a hard top with full doors for comfort goodness, in the summer I switch to the soft top and half doors. You are better able to enjoy having the top off with the half doors. watch craigslist for a set of full doors and surrounds. they will coat between 500 and a grand most likely. More if you get the hard top too. unzipping the windows isn't that big of a deal really.

- SUPER GLUE!!! Nah, I'm just kidding. I am fixing to go MacGyver on you though. So you'll need a ball point pen, some Velcro strips, and four washers. If all else fails, if you can't get the specific parts from the dealer ( sometimes they sell them, sometimes they don't), if you can't find a junk yard, or for whatever reason. Take your window out, take apart the pen, cut it to fit through holes in the window, cut some square pieces of the soft Velcro to fit behind the washers(cushion), use some adhesive( a dab of rtv or something) to hold them in place and rivet. I've used this ancient art of the Mexican ways for generations... I now pass this on to you Grass Hopper!! If this doesn't work, get a paper clip, a piece of gum, and a pocket knife, and blow it up... LOL. But seriously give it a try if all else fails. You might end up having to use a combination of different things, but you get the idea.

- Yes, but you have to use a certified type of plastic. It has to react in a certain way in a collision. It's also thinner and offers less sound insulation. This is why very few road-legal cars have plastic windows, save for stripped out exotic cars like the Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera, Ferrari F430 Scuderia, Aston Martin V8 Vantage N24, and I believe the Porsche 911 GT3 RS has some plastic windows.
