Q: I have a Parrot Boombox bluetooth speaker but am missing the power cable. Can you look at this picture and tell me what kind it is and where I might get one?
That's just a standard AC power cord. You may already have one around the house. If you can't find one, go to your local computer store.
Q: I just have the power cable for battery, lost the ground cable.. Can I cut from power cable and use for ground? Are they the same thing or different cables.??
for the most part, all wire is the same. Just a bunch of stands of copper and sometimes aluminum. So yes, go ahead and use the power cable.
Q: I need to run power cables from 4 fans on my stacker 830 around the edges of the case and into the power supply for cable management purposes. The fans I currently have, have power cables that are around only 10 inches long. Any ideas?
Can you solder? If so, just clip the wires then splice on extensions. Add heat-shrink material, solder connections, shrink the material and you're good to go.
Q: I have plugged my old laptop power cable into my USB hard drive, and now it does not work at all. Have I completed fried the circuits? Is there any way to get the data back if I have please? Thanks for any advice you can offer.
The circuits might have gone on the hard disc. But data platters would not be gone. You might get back your data, but it involves a great expenditure. You have to send the disc to the manufacturer for retrieval of data. Unless the data is very important, I would suggest junking the disc.
Q: I had gave my amp a 16 volt input, then there was a spark which came from fuses that got burnt. I then replaced the fuses, rewired it nd gave it a 12 volt input it came on and went on protection. So i left it aside and after a few days i tryd connecting it again but this time it came on and it was burning the power cables no matter what guage wire i used. Any idea why its doing that?
Take it to a repair shop
Q: If Not What Do I Have To Look Out For Because Im Looking For A New Power Supply Fan.
there's no such thing as a PS fan. the PSU is self contained, there is a fan in the unit, but you can't replace just the fan. You will have to replace the whole PSU.
Q: I forgot the power cable for my PS3 at a friends house and was wondering if the power cable from my computer would work. It would fit and everything, but would it mess up the system?
some PS3s have time-honored ability grant. to recognize which one you have you need to open it. in case you do not choose to open it (and void the guarantee) - use ability converter. word: for PS3 you will possibly desire a minimum of four hundred Watt. As for ability cable itself - relies upon on the socket on your ability converter.
Q: Ever time I try screwing in my power cable sparks fly.My amp has no off switch.and my car is turned off.wtf?Help me out/
Very simple...remove the negative clamp from the battery in your car before you attempt to do any thing. now the circuit is broken... make sure your ground for your amp is going to something metal on your car... I imagine you are trying to hook your power cable to the positive clamp on your battery... After the amp is grounded. you may now hook-up the power cable on to the positive terminal of the battery. tighten the positive terminal with your amp power line together. Then when you are sure the amp is grounded...( ground wire to metal )...you have a ground wire from the amp also. take the positive battery post wire and reattach... then the negative battery post wire... the battery wires sould not get hot or change temp, you will know as it happens quickly... now if all the wires are done right and your cables don't heat up, it is safe. if you turn on the stereo now and it dosen't work, it just means you blew the fuse on the line to the stereo. find on the line, replace it... it is a safety thing so you don't blow the amp or burn the car down... When ever you work on a car always remove the NEGITIVE post on the battery...
Q: I just finished building my shed, I put a 1 1/2 inch conduit under the shed coming up into the corner. I am now about to dig the 65 foot trench back to the house. I need to run power, not a problem. I want to run a phone line, a network cable, and a cable wire for my satellite. I say shed but it is 12 by 20 feet with an attic. Can I run these additional lines in with the power. I was thinking about using a run of Shielded cables for the network and one for the phone. For the cable some heavy duty quot;I don't know what thoughquot;. Will the power lines mess the data up on them? What will work for the three if any. If I need to I could run them in a new conduit, but that is not cheap!
Congratulations on finishing your shed. Unfortunately, you can't run your communications wiring in the same conduit as a power line. It's against code and it will mess with your low-voltage signals. You'll need to run a separate piece for those. Keep it one foot away from the power conduit, crossing at right angles. Of course, you can run them closer for short distances, but keep it to a minimum. Bear in mind that no matter which satellite cable you choose, it won't like sharp turns. Running shielded cable for the network is a great idea. Also, network cable is getting better every day, run the most highly rated you can afford and you won't regret it. I would not recommend looking for any all-in-one cable. They often are not as well designed as the individual ones. Personally, I would run extra lines now, for future expansion. Hope this helps.
Q: i have a 97 chevy malibu and i need to know where to run the power cable through the fire wall. or where could i get a diagram that is simple enough for me to understand...
Either find a rubber boot with enough space through it (where your steering column goes through), or drill a hole and use the grommet that comes with your Amp Install kit. If you choose to drill, MAKE SURE you have enough clearance on both sides.
