A pad that will also carry your warranties if the cheaper carpet has any... You can get carpet as low as 2$ a s/f w/ and labor. Thats 288$. So round it off to 300$... I d budget a bit more since this won t include rip out of whats there now , unless you do that yourself.. - It depends upon the stain, if your carpet has a light color you can use the hydrogen peroxide , but it is not advisable because it has a little amount of bleach. in using baking soda this will only absorb the awful smell. yet very effective.

- Usually carpet is held down with a tack strips that run along the wall. Just pry up the carpet at the walls roll the carpet up to the point you can fix the pipe...... Then after it's finished then roll the carpet back and use a knee kicker or power stretcher to stretch the carpet back into place, then tuck the carpet between the tack strip and the wall...... Also there should be a crawl space under the house, to get to the pipes.......There should some kind of access door to get down there, you just have to find it...... Anyway Good Luck..............

- Changing the carpet is the easy part. Removing all that's holding it in is the hard part. You can google for automotive carpet and order it online. You can expect to pay 120-175 bucks for a carpet depending on who you order it from. (Try JC Whitney) Order the carpet that comes with the padding attached to it. Once you get the carpet, the hard part begins. Take the seats out, and unbolt the seat belts from the floor. Remove the center console and any trim around the edges such as the sill plates that hold the carpet in. Take care in any wiring you encounter, remember where it is. Once everything holding down the edges of the carpet have been removed, the carpet comes out pretty easy. Vacuum up any loose debris then install the new carpet with padding and put everything back in that you took out. An experienced installer would take 3-4 hours since the center console is the hardest part. If you have never attempted this before, expect a full day at best, probably two to complete the job. No other materials are needed unless there are pieces of carpet that are glued to the kick panels in the front. Then a can of 3M spray adhesive would cover that.
