Also, what if I want to use a ethernet cable to connect and transfer data, how do i go about doing that?: it depends, in theory that is how it works but the cable must be intended for that use, they sell usb cable for file transfer and it comes with a cd on how to do it, it is very easy. if this cable was home made, it wont work. a crossover ethernet cable is your best bet. email me if more help needed.

Q: I have am Energizer PSP charger with a USB cord. I needed to transfer some data from my Acer laptop to my PSP. Couldn't I just use the USB cord that came with the Energizer charger for that?
