FAQ
1. For Polished Porcelain Tile, is the 30*60 available?
—— Yes, 30*60 is available. Due to the basic size is 60*60, we need to cut 60*60 tile into 30*60. 6 pcs are packed into one carton.
2. Can we use the carton with our own design and brand name?
—— Yes. Normally we go with Neutral Carton or our Carton with our CMAX brand name. But for carton of client’s own design, the MOQ for one size is 5 containers, due to the carton factory can’t arrange production if quantity is below 5000 pcs.
3. Why choose our Floor Tile?
1). Less investment and shorter lead time because we ship tiles directly from Factory.
2). Better ETD and more stable price bacause we keep abundant stock for future needs.
4. What exhibition we joined?
1). Canton Fair (every year)
2). Dubai Big 5
3). American Covering
5. How to choose bathroom tiles? Porcelain tiles or glazed tiles?
Currently used in the bathroom tiles with glazed tiles (mainly from price considerations, some high-end can choose
tiles, notice to choose tiles), divided into Shinny and Matt two kinds. Light color makes people feel shinny, but the
bathroom more appropriate to create a warm feeling, so the best choose is uses matte, the shinny feels more soft and
not dazzling.
- Q:The tile grout on my bathroom floor is white in some parts, but dark where husband stands next to the sink/toilet... How can I clean it without having to re-grout it? Can I just spray bleach on or will that ruin the tile?
- Bleach shouldn't ruin the tile but then again I don't know what kind of tile you have. There are grout cleaners at Home Depot or Lowes that should do the trick for you. Sometimes getting a professional to come in and polish the floor is a good idea depending on how much work is involved.
- Q:Suggestions and stories needed. We have 3 kids, 2 dogs (inside). I am on the fence. We bought stuff for doing the tile but now I am thinking laminate.
- Both are good choices. Tile is more durable but its cold in the winter and harder on the feet. Laminate has a warmer feel and the pad gives it a little bit softer feel. Plus glass objects don't always break when you dop them on it. But it can be damaged a lot easier than tile. I am not saying its easily damaged, by no means, its very durable and will with stand 3 kids and 2 dogs. Laminate is also not recommended in high moister areas. As far as maintaining the floors, Laminate is easier just wipe it up a few times a month and your good to go. Tile needs the grout to be sealed and needs to be scrubbed when t gets real dirty.
- Q:The tile of my garage is 10 years old. The house was abandoned and I bought it. The tile that was used was a textured ceramic tile. I‘ve tried brushing it and washing it with different products but it goes back to a dusty look. Any ideas on how to bring it back to life other than paying to get it polished by a professional. Thank you in advanced.
- If you don't want to pay for the labor to have it cleaned, you will be the one to do it yourself. Elbo Grease. Get some Tile Acid Cleaner from the Home dpot/Lowes, and a couple of hand held scrub brushes, some plastic bristles, some metal bristles, (to see which works best). Get a spray bottle, poor the acid into it. do not delut with water. Not until after it has sat on it for 5 min and you have scrubbed and scrubbed. Then spray with water (lightly Misting) and wipe up with disposable towels. Dont forget the rubber gloves. After the entire floor is finished or until you are satisfied (or if you want to do in Stages) wait until entirely dry and get some Tile Sealer and begin to apply. Pay attention to the grout lines first then mop all over the tile. The cost for materials will be about $50--$70 But the labor is where the real money is. Have Fun I do not envy you.
- Q:Dose anyone know any decorative tile srtists?
- Check on line or at a tile store. Have fun
- Q:I‘m tiling a bathroom counter and have all my supplies but not sure I purchased the right trowel. I purchased a square-notched trowel 1/4x1/4x1/4. What is the difference between this one and the one I see commonly used on tv and on other tiling jobs...the razor tooth edge type?
- I tile every day of my life, and I want to assume these Stone Tiles are at least Milled flat on one side, though if they are RAW, not production glazed, I wouldn't be using them on a counter top. I also don't always use 1/4 inch mortar beads on counter tops, often choosing 1/8, (In the same Tool you purchased). Floor tiles yes, always. That's just a personal choice and not a Law set in stone (no pun intended). You have the correct tool for Thinset. The saw edge applicators, are usually used for mastics/Adhesive tile setting materials, which are also, often used for counter tops, Not very practical for tile or stone. Steven Wolf just my two sense
- Q:My husband and I are building a new home. I would love to put ceramic tiling in my kitchen/dining room (they are combined). Do you think that 14‘X23‘ is too large for tiling? Its a concrete slap, and we will be doing the work ourselves. Any tips would be helpful!! I am looking for tips, suggestions, tools needed, extra supplies, ideas, horror stories, turned out good stories, I will take it all! Thanks so much!
- Big rooms are awesome for tiling, and fun too! You will need the mortar (which is the adhesive for the tile), a spreader for the adhesive, and it's always good to have a tile cutter, because you will probably have to make cuts. You can get a decent tile cutter for about $60. We did our kitchen tile on a diagonal, and it turned out AWESOME! Once you have the tile layed, remember to let it dry for a few days before you grout it. Go to Home Depot and other home improvement stores, and just talk to people. They can steer you in the right direction, show you the tools you need, and tell you how to do it. Good luck!!! ;)
- Q:How many pieces of a tiles are there in general?
- Look at the specifications! General 600 * 600 4 pieces 800 * 800 3 pieces, some thick brick 2 pieces
- Q:I have a rental that currently has sheet vinyl in the kitchen that is in bad shape. I am considering putting in self adhesive floor tiles over the vinyl. I have installed similar flooring in a bathroom but used inexpensive tiles. It looked good, but the tiles tended to slide. I‘m thinking it was because I used bargain tiles rather than better quality.I just need comments as to longevity and problems you might have encoutered with self adhesive tiles. Also, do you have any particular brand or type you recommend?
- We put the vinyl self stick tiles in the basement over an existing floor. The original tile is from the 50's and contains asbestos. The home inspector said it would be best to leave it down and tile over it.....fine as long as you don't try to take it up..that is where the asbestos comes in. Needless to say the floor has been down for 3 years and still looks great. In the kitchen, we put a vinyl tile floor down over the exisitng vinyl. There was a second floor down, but we took it up. They stick great...only problem we had was where the dishwasher and fridge are. Couldn't tile all the way under them and they kept sliding. My husband fixed that problem with Gorilla Glue. They are going no where now!!!! Both floors are from Home Depot. These were the ones I liked best and they were the most inexpensive. Since this is a rental and you don't want to spend a fortune, go with a pretty but inexpensive floor!!!!!The brand name is NEWPORT. I am very happy with these floors!!!!!! Also make sure exisisting floor is clean; get rid of old wax and grease and dirt. You can buy something at Home Depot to clean this. Make sure tiles are at room temp before laying...don't bring in from cold car and stick down. Good Luck!!!!
- Q:A roofing tile falls from rest off the roof of a building. An observer from across the street notices that it takes 0.32 s for the tile to pass between two windowsills that are 3.49 m apart. How far is the sill of the upper window from the roof of the building?
- Called Vx the speed the tile has reached in free falling mode at the upper window's sill span = 3.49 = (Vx+(Vx+g*t)/2*t 6.98 = 2Vx*0.32+9.8*0.32^2 5.976 = 0.64Vx Vx = 5.976/0.64 = 9.34 m/sec (tile speed at the sill of the upper window) falling time tf = Vx/g = 9.34/9.8 = 0.953 sec (from roof to the sill of the upper window) h = 1/2gt^2 = 4.9*0.953^2 = 4.45 m h = Vx^2/2g = 9.34^2/19.6 = 4.45 m
- Q:What is the difference between polished tiles and ordinary tiles?
- Polished tiles: After mechanical grinding, polishing, the surface was glossy ceramic tiles, and now commonly known as the tiles is a polished tiles, it is all polished polished tiles, the meaning of glass is burning through the tiles!
