FAQ

1.    For Polished Porcelain Tile, is the 30*60 available?

—— Yes, 30*60 is available. Due to the basic size is 60*60, we need to cut 60*60 tile into 30*60.

2.    Can we use the carton with our own design and brand name?

—— Yes. Normally we go with Neutral Carton or our Carton with our CMAX brand name. But for carton of client’s own design, the MOQ for one size is 5 containers, due to the carton factory can’t arrange production if quantity is below 5000 pcs.

4. What exhibition we joined?

5. What's the characteristics about porcelain tiles and glazed tiles?

Glazed tiles are colorful, the effect is rather diverse, stain-slip, abrasion resistance but worse than the porcelain tiles. Long-term use may wear a large surface; porcelain tiles have the higher degree, long hard wear surface. Good performance and stable cleanup (before playing the best times to use the wax to improve stain resistance).

Q: I have some stick on tile that has come loose in a small hall area at some rental property. can you just lift thme up re-glue them? They are still in great shape.
Yes...life the entire tile off the floor. Make sure the floor under the tile is clean before re-applying the tile. Lay tile face down on newspaper and spary the clean back (free of debris) with a spray can of glue used for upholstery (you can find it in Lowes). Then wait about 2-3 minutes and stick the tile back in it's place. If you use liquid nails or other squirt on types of glue your tile will show the glue lines through the top of the tile.
Q: I want to lay tiles on my concrete driveway, is that possible. I don't want to hire the expert to demolish the concrete, pave it with gap sand and the usual stuffs. I know how to do indoor tiles layering, but wasn't sure regular tiles will hold up 3 tons of vehicle weighs. Anyone knows any other way. Thanks.

Q: I have a commercial pool thats about 100 years old ( with modern modifications). The ceramic tiles on the floor area are original. We have been begged by just about everyone not to replace them. It looks soo dirty. Our comepetition is more expensive.....water quality is horrible....and their pools are packed all day. Im lucky to get 5 people in an 18 hour day. The water and inside the pool look nice.....just getting to the pool...people think they will get a disease. Its just old age stain....not sure what that is exactly.
I okorder /... Re-sealing the tiles is not a permanent solution. Another alternative is to find matching tiles, and remove a strip wide enough for a walkway, and re-tile with the new, modern tiles. Sometimes old meets new can look terrific.
Q: I have this ceramic tile in my bathroom (on the wall, not the floor). There is absolutely nothing wrong with it, except it is an incredibly ugly color. I would like to paint it, rather than rip it all down just to put up more tile. Any suggestions?
If you go to the DIY store I would think you would get paint especially for the job. When you have a smooth surface to get paint or varnish to stick to it you need to give it a key (ie use sand paper to give it something to grip) This wouldnt work here as it would damage your tiles. Another thought is you get these transfers which are just squares a different colour that you can put on tiles maybe that would be worth a go.
Q: I just finished laying tile in my shower. How long do I need to wait before I grout? If it makes any difference they are simple 4 inch white tiles. Also, just out of curiosity, I was told I needed to spread the adhesive on the wall and place the tiles over that. It seems like it would have been easier to apply the adhesive to the back of the tiles. Especially the last few tiles. Does this make any difference?
No the adhesive goes on the surface to be tiled. You're not just gluing tiles to a surface, you are actually building a new surface - backer+adhesive+tile+grout. As far as drying time the type tile doesn't really matter as much as the type/consistency adhesive you used (should have drying time on label) and the temperature/condition of the room (is it a used heated space or new damp construction). We tiled one day and grouted the next.
Q: I want to rip up the old linoleum in my bathroom and install some tile. The previous owners laid the current layer of linoleum on top of the original linoleum. From the little bit I‘ve peeled up to look underneath it looks like chip board underneath that. Does that mean I need to lay some kind of backerboard underneath the tile? I also plan on tearing out the curent cabinets and installing new ones. Should I install the tile or the cabinets first?
Ceramic Tile Backerboards There are many types of backerboard products suitable for use with ceramic tile. We will focus on two of the more popular products: 1/2 thick, water resistant greenboard sheetrock and cementitious type ceramic tile backerboards (recommended). Subfloors We recommend that 1/4 or 1/2 thick cementitious ceramic tile backerboards be installed as an underlayment over wood subfloors. The exterior grade plywood should be at least 1-1/8 thick (5/8 minimum) in order to provide for a structurally solid, movement free foundation. In addition, the space between the joists should not exceed 16 on center. In any case, the maximum allowable concentrated deflection of your subfloor may not exceed L/360 of the span. Install backerboard using a non-modified thinset mortar and 1-1/4 screws or nails. The diy network website is a great place to go to find information about any home improvement projects....good luck!
Q: Marco Polo tiles have several manufacturers
Marco Polo has a total of seven manufacturers Upstairs you do not understand do not pretend to understand
Q: I have travertine tile in my bathroom that apparently wasn‘t sealed properly. Now it has water stains that are visible when viewed from an angle. It‘s ugly and I can‘t get rid of them. Any suggestions?
The best thing that you should do is to change your floor tiles. Why don't you try marble this time? It will instantly transform your bathroom into an oasis of relaxation.
Q: My family began to paste tiles, the budget has been bought more than 2 square, and buy back the tile is now posted enough and also a lot worse, would like to ask the forum friends, the normal paste tile loss is how much? Thank you first!
The number of tiles and the paving process and specifications have a close relationship.
Q: I am purchasing a home and need to change the flooring before moving in. It is a 1500 sq foot house including garage, laundry room etc. I have already picked out carpet for the 3 bedrooms but am trying to decide on laminate wood floors or tile? It would be in the rest of the house including hallway, living room, and kitchen. I have heard tile floors are great, yet hard to clean, and hurt people‘s legs. I haven‘t heard too much about the laminate floors.Any opinions, suggestions, stories?? I would really appreciate it!
If you can afford to put in a porcelain tile then you can do a hard wood. And when you say a laminate wood, I assume you mean a engineered wood which is a laminated wood as opposed to a laminate which is a good product when you get a mid range to a high end product. But to answer your question, I d do the earthy tile since you have a natural stone look in your kitchen and earthy tones in the walls and carpet, I wouldn t go dark..At least a mid tone or lighter wood flooring if you go that route.
