- Check the tread depth with a guage, passing would be 2/32, but if they are even close I would change them. if the rears pass and you are going to keep them, put the new ones on the rear and the old ones rotate to the front. I like to buy all 4 at a time and if you keep them rotated they wll wear at the same time, but buying 4 tires at once is a bit pricey

- Used tires are probably came out of the car junkyard. It is hard to find a good set of used tires. You don't usually get the same rubbers on all 4 tires. Some of them have different rims, treads and tread wears. Many are cracked as I saw them on my dad's car. Price aren't that cheap for used tires. I would buy cheap news. Some Chinese brands have decent reviews, but I don't trust them, and I don't want to support them. Cooper tires, and some American brands are very cheap too. I would get a set from them. - Well if the tires were set up in an exactly vertical position then when the cars go through the turns the tires would fold under and ride on the side and wear the tires out plus not get very good grip. To eliminate that they lean the tires in so now when they go around the corner the tire folds in a little and rides flat. More tire rides flat on the track and the car turns better because the tire gets better grip.
