- my cousin was also sucked into the microfiber lie....dont do it...personally i went with a slipcover sofa set from ikea [i'm sure other places have similar products] i chose a dark fabric that wont show messes as much as something lighter. that way as soon as something is spilled i can remove the cover, toss it into the washer and ta-da! another plus is that if you decide to change your decor, just buy a different cover! easy-peesy

- It looks like office furniture to me and I find the size of the arms obnoxious. Somehow the scale of the piece seems off...But, I would be more concerned with the construction if you like the style. Is it made with hardwoods, 8 way hand tied or clipped, reinforced joinery and what is the grade of leather? What is inside of the cushions and are the covers removable? What is the slide factor - leather tends to slide on leather. Can the piece float in the room (i.e. is the back finished). Are the seams double stitched and what with?

- Try using an upholstry foam.... Follow the manufacturer instructions.... Or you can try a little bit of shaving foam not the gel the foam... It's basically concentrated soap... Just try in an inconspicuious area to make sure it doesn't remove the color off the fabric.... For crayons... You can try a warm iron and some paper towels.. Just heat up the iron and iron on top of some absorbant paper towels.... Keep moving the paper towel to blot up the crayon.... It may take afew tries... Don't RUB the crayon BLOT and use a clean portion of the paper towel... *Get a slip cover for you sofa... That way when children are present/company or pets you can SAVE your sofa some wear/tear! - I have an attached, overstuffed pillowback sofa and I used a Surefit cover. It was fine. The only problem I had was the space between the pillowback and the sofa back. It seemed like too big a hollow for me, so I bought some batting and filled it out. But the slipcover is great...highly recommend it.
